He can’t even get it within the zip code of his intended target. -
Bills at Browns Post Game Post Mortem

Everybody doesn’t think they’re pretenders because of play calling, run D and the kicker. They think the QB isn’t good and can’t carry them when they need it. If you put Watson or Mahomes on this team everybody would have faith in the Bills. -

And if that ball isn’t tipped that would have been the game winning screen. Nobody was there to stop him, Allen has to get that ball over the blitz. -

He is. He has a long learning curve but that was the book on him coming out of college. Learning curve aside, he has the worst long ball I’ve ever seen at the NFL level. He’s nowhere near the WR. -
That all sounds good but he doesn't get open on a consistent basis. He’s slow with very little burst out of his cuts. He has to be able to catch contested balls because he struggles to actually get separation. Id rather have a guy that drops a ball every now and then but is always open than a guy who struggles to get open.

I don’t get the love fest for Duke on this board.

This is one of the ugliest 2 min drives I’ve seen this year.

While I appreciate that went into compiling these numbers the above is the problem. Without knowing how to interpret the data the numbers don’t mean much. You’re making assumptions when you need more data. There should be no “to me“. In order to interpret the date you complied you have to have the same information on all the other teams in the league to compare these numbers to. Getting data is the first step, interpreting the data is the important one.

I don’t get why the Jets and Browns decided to go out and get toys for their young QBs instead of protection.

Anyone else getting concerned about our running game?

I said it after the 3 stops at the goal line. Why don’t they spread the field and give it to Singletary on short yardage. Thankfully Daboll was listening. ? -
Bell doesn’t even give it his all to get the 1st on 3rd and 4. They get it on 4th down but that was a pathetic effort.

After the drive where the Bills has the ball at the 2 and ended up kicking a FG from the 22 I was asking, “wtf is Daboll being so cute?” After all the short yardage Gore carries I was saying, “That’s why Daboll was being so cute.”

Singletary

Freddie Kitchens might want to debate you about that.

Every drive that heavily involved Singletary ended in points. Get that kid the ball! -

A win is a win but that was the worst defensive performance I’ve ever seen that resulted in fewer than 10 points. As said above, a win is a win though, I’ll take it. 6-2! -
He slowed up at the very end and relaxed like nobody was pursuing him.

I don't get why they activated Foster last week over McKenzie with the weather. Jet sweeps would have been way more effective in those conditions than the deep ball. That said, Id like to see Foster get the start today. The big play needs to find its way into this offense and Foster and Brown on the field at the same time is the best way.

I like your posts and agree with most of your points but you just moved the goal posts here. You were talking about passer ratings and offensive production (scoring.) Now you're comparing passer rating to wins. That's one step further down the correlative path.

I can't say that I've been overly impressed with Allen thus far but this is a bit much. Allen was/is a project QB and expecting him to hit his stride right out of the gate was a pie in the sky dream. Allen should be judged as a finished product when we see him plateau. We haven't seen that yet. There was a jump after his injury last year and another jump so far this year. No, he's not a good QB right now but he also is improving fairly quickly. You don't throw a QB away until he fails to continue improving and you know that you're pretty close to the finished product.

Shaq is one of only two players on the DL playing well vs the run. Trading Shaq makes the Ds biggest weakness an even greater one. Unless they get something substantial, which is unlikely, Shaq doesn't get moved.

So when most fans want to toss out garbage time stats because they inflate QB stats Bills’ fans use garbage time as an excuse as to why the QB had crap numbers? ?? There’s a trend on this board that it’s never Allen’s fault. It’s Zay’s fault, it’s Daboll’s fault and now, apparently, it’s garbage time’s fault. I don’t get why fans can’t judge QB play on the Bills honestly. They’ve been making excuses for bad QB play for 20+ years. Saying Allen has a bad game doesn’t mean he can’t, or won’t, develop into a good QB. It’s okay to just admit it.

Bills better figure out how to stop the run by then or it will be a repeat of today. Chubb and Cleveland dominating the LoS today.
