It is somewhat hypocritical of the Catholic Church since Jesus preached about love the sinner, forgiveness etc. But it also seems odd that President Biden goes to their church and sits in the front row when he knows they think abortion is murder, and then works to further it in the world the other 6 days of the week. Some true mental gymnastics going on here.

Sounds like the vaccine was effective. He just got a mild case and didn't give it to anyone else. -

Where did she go to school? I learned about the slave trade etc in grammar school in Texas in the 1960s. My daughter learned about it in Texas public school in the 1990s/2000s. This is such a straw man. If you have a good case you don't have to make stuff up. Did you also know about New York City's large stake in slavery in the 1700s? They had the 2nd largest port for importing slaves only behind Charleston. I know a lot of Yankees like to look down their noses at the south for slavery, but the North was not a lot better for most of its history in America. http://www.slaveryinnewyork.org https://www.nypl.org The port was not even marked until 2015. I only found out about it cuz I was in NYC at the time and it was in a small article buried in the NY Times. New York likes to hide the ball on this one. I also think its funny when you protest a REDSTATE source and then quote some yahoo from the high tech peanut gallery. 😄 -

In US Presidential elections, when a black person is on the ticket, they have never lost. 3-0 -

Can you provide proof for this assertion please? No. You stated it as fact. When questioned you are the one that needs to provide proof for your fact, not someone else. -
How will more Supreme Court judges give an obvious ability to increase volume? They will still hear one case at a time. Then with 15 Justices instead of 9 you could run into a too many cooks in the kitchen scenario. Is there a problem today of the SC not getting through cases fast enough? Since its obvious it should be easy to explain how It would speed them up. I'm just not seeing it.

We're now 2 weeks out from Memorial Day weekend and no spike. Not even a blip. Most states like mine have continued the trend down. Its like Ferris Buehler at the end. What are you people still doing here? Its over. -
Combating imaginary racism with actual racism??

In other words, young minds will continue to do what they've always done. In the 1850s, young minds thought slavery was bad and got it overturned. Hated baby boomers thought racism and unfair housing and education was bad and they marched/protested and got some things changed. Young people thought gay discrimination was bad and protested etc and now they got their own month, can marry etc. AND they were able to do it without CRT being force fed to them in school. -

I don't like the idea of teaching CRT in schools. But, another question needs to be asked of the school administrators. What are you taking out to put this on? $77,000,000.00? Really? And it will be a graduation requirement which insinuates there will be class time devoted to it. Schools don't have unlimited funds or time. Our schools are having a hard enough time teaching the 3 Rs. Get better at that before trying to teach unnecessary stuff. -
The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19

Why? California according to you is one of the good states that will be at President Biden's July 4th 70%. Essentially herd immunity. So lets think about this. Say I go to a concert at the Whiskey a Go Go with 200 people in attendance. 140 vaccinated and 60 not. The 140 don't have to worry about it. Dr. Fauci says masks in indoor settings are not needed for a vaccinated person because the chance of catching it is infinitessimally small. So only the 60 unvaccinated are at risk. How any of those 60 already had it and have some immunity? Ill say 10. So of the other 50, how many are active COVID carriers? Maybe 10, 20? So those 10 or 20 people have to run into each other and talk for a while to catch it. Probably, one is sitting stage right, one is stage left and one is in the front row. Vaccine is out there and available for anyone that wants it FOR FREE. If you choose not to, good luck to you. Leave the rest of us alone. -

Here we go again. Yesterday it was how many boys have changed their gender for the sole purpose of participating in girls sports. Today its how did the parents get the grades. I'm seeing a trend ... -
Our next POTUS takes on Big Tech in Florida
reddogblitz replied to Big Blitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I remember in 2000 when we had projections of surpluses as far as the eye can see. Future President George W. Bush and Vice President Al Gore were giddily campaigning about how they were going to spend this gobs and gobs of money. Then 9/11 followed shortly by the dot com bust and we were back in the tank. Counting on inflation going down with any kind of certainty is dubious at best. Hopefully it does. -

Evidently you don't know this a thing that is already happening. Florida is trying to nip it in the bud. Evidently President Biden thinks its a good to have transgender girls (biological males) dismantling girls in sports. Do you also think its a good idea? Once again women and girls take it in the shorts because of biological males. Do some homework. I told you how to get started. -

Here's another: I found this by doing a simple internet search "transgender girls track and field records". Returned pages and pages of results mostly about transgender girls re writing the girls track and field record book in Connecticut and other places. Again, how does this help girls/women's sports? Do you think it hurts them? -

This is college and in New Hampshire: How can this be good for women's sports and its participants? Those women in that race had absolutely ZERO CHANCE to win. Physically impossible. I think it's what Florida doesn't want to happen in their state. https://legalinsurrection.com/2019/05/transgender-woman-wins-ncaa-womens-track-tournament/ -

I don't care if you get it or not. Whatever turns you on. In Seattle with 70% and 85% vaccinated over 65, 97% of new cases are people who were not vaccinated. https://www.seattletimes.com The vaccine works. It may cause me to grow a third eye someday I suppose, but I'll take my chances. You do what's best for you. See you out there.
