DeSantis For President in 2024?

You make some good points however the Democrats can still make plenty of hay out of abortion in 2024. Its what they do. Back to my original question, when have Democrats ever NOT gone in big on abortion in the 6 months before an election since 1973? I can't remember one. But really, if the Republicans don't solve their Trump problem it won't make much difference anyway. -

I can't ever recall when the abortion issue faded since 1973. When has this ever happened? -

Why are they doing this? What's the reason? What do they hope to get out of it? Teen age girls have been having periods since time immemorial. Surely a study has already been done I would think. What are you, a short-a-phobic? Why do you hate short people? Randy Newman, is that you? Trump is over 6 feet tall. We need more of that? -
I very much hope he flies it into the ground. Don't worry, something else would replace it. Maybe Tik Tok can come up with something? Even with all its "content moderation" it is a great source of falsehoods. Its where we learned Michael Brown was running away from the police with his hands up when he was shot. And where we learned Sandman and his friends accosted a minding his own business Indian yelling "Go back to your own country". Its where the insurrectionists planned their insurrection. Too much falsehood and waaaaaaay too much division fermented on there. Its a net negative for American society IMHO. But, have fun with it.

I can't tell you how many times on Judge Judy I've seen cases where people were using student loan money like this or to buy her boyfriend a car.

Sweet. I'm gonna wear my Lee Evans jersey to the game then. Its autographed too. Lee signed it in the club before a game years ago. I think Rex was the HC. I'm gonna wait and see who suits up Sunday. Handling the injury report is a job for a highly skilled HC such as Coach McDermott. Who knows what he's got up his sleave? -
Totally agree on this part. The won the president, a small majority in HOR, and really no majority in Senate yet as you say, they acted like they has a super majority and could cram down all the stuff they've Benn wanting to do for 40 years. Their majority wasn't even big enough to get all their own people to vote for it.

Yes and No. Fortunately in this case the dude died and there won't be massive medical bills for surgery, brain surgery, and long term care. Hope he had good health insurance. Often in these types of cases they don't or are under insured meaning the cost of their care ends up being paid by the rest of us. Have fun with your liberty but don't expect all of us to pay for it if something goes sideways.

Senator Durbin makes some anti democracy claims at times. I will never get over a United States Senator (him) telling a US citizen (Kavanaugh) that if you didn't do anything wrong you should not fear an investigation. And if you don't want an investigation, it means you did something so we should investigate. I wonder in which semester at Georgetown Law School he leaned that? -
Well, it is silly season after all. Talk of ending Social Security has been around around election time for as long as I can remember. In 1980 I started a summer job for the city parks Department. When filling out paperwork the supervisor said you young guys might not want to sign up for SS cuz it will be gone by the time we retire. Guess what I get in mail every month now? A Social security check. Who can forget Al Gore's lock box? Social Security is still the 3rd rail of politics. If some Republican did introduce ending SS or Medicare it would never pass cuz some Rs wouldn't vote for it either. It does need to be fixed however. There are many ways to do it.

Speaker Pelosi's Home Has Been Attacked
reddogblitz replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
How do you know the window was broken to gain access? Maybe it was broke by the assailant after he was already let inside. Paul ticked him off so he found the hammer and broke the window in spite. Would love to see the forensic reports on if the broken glass was on the inside or outside of the window. And who is this 3rd person that was there and let the police in and what were they doing there at 2:30 in the morning? -

My current working theory is the attacker and at least one other person were invited over by Mr. Pelosi. We already know he likes to party when Nancy is out of town. After the DWI why risk driving? Have the party come to him. One thing leads to another. Guys are lounging around in their underwear when a hammer fight breaks out after the cops show up. He obviously can't tell Nancy that so he made up the break in thing. -

The attacker in his undershorts could suggest he was not an intruder, but a guest who was staying for the night. -
