  1. I remember when my Mom used to tell me two wrongs don't make a right. I'm guessing either your Mom never told you that or you didn't listen. Sad.
  2. Perhaps we should use the Kavanaugh hearing legal standard in this case? If you didn't do anything wrong, why not agree to an investigation? If you don't agree to an investigation then that means you probably did some thing wrong so we need to investigate. Still boggles my mind to this day that this was the argument United States Senators most with law degrees were making. Senator Dick Durbin especially comes to mind, but most if not all of the Democrat Senators used it.
  3. What eras of history are they teaching K-5? Do you know? All of the names on the left are from the Civil War and on back. If you're teaching about the Civil War, the founding of the country, the discovery of America, and Egyptian history, why would MLK come up?
  4. It's the one thing they can both agree on. Keeping everyone else out. I think we need a strong third or fourth party too. Whenever both parties nominate crap candidates which is almost always, I vote for a third party candidate. My hope is that others will do the same and one day one will win enough to get matching funds and build some momentum. I also enforce term limits with my ballot. Results have not been good thus far.
  5. Who said it was good? Seems pretty dumb to me to buy a company and want to increase ad revenue and then alienate 1/2 your customer base.
  6. I have ZERO sympathy for them too. I didn't have debts to pay off cuz I joined the Marines out of high school and went to college on the GI bill. You can still do that today.
  7. Trump is the greatest fund raising gift for the Democrats since Newt Gingrich.
  8. What is the sales tax rate in Florida?
  9. The reason the run game is now working is cuz we're actually handing the football off to RBs. Up until the last few weeks it's rot been that we couldn't run the Football; we just chose not to. Now we are choosing to and its working. Cook's gonna break some big ones if this keeps up.
  10. What's with this condescending attitude? Seems every time someone disagrees with your opinion you have to say they are too dumb or something. You have your opinion, I have mine. Deal with it. For not being a childish keyboard warrior you sure do keyboard around here a lot. If they did go on strike my thinking is the US public will be mad at all of them. Big Bidness (railroads), Unions, Democrats, Republicans, President Biden. Opinions are like butt holes ...
  11. I see. You're for unions and the ability to strike for better compensation except when you aren't. Its OK for lowly Starbucks and factory workers but not people who are important and have real leverage. Put your big boy pants on and support the strikers if it comes to pass even if its inconvenient. If it really would cost $2,000,000,000.00 per day (not sure how accurate it is cuz I hear politicians tossing that number around), there would be tremendous pressure on the big bidness railroads to make concessions which is a good thing and kindof the point.
  12. Same goes for maternity/paternity leave. Once this thing got rolling in the 80s/90s every company I worked for had it or started doing it. Even the last company I worked for with 200 employees. Would love to see the statistics on that too if @ChiGoose has any.
  13. So now blue collar union workers striking to get a better contract is a "quixotic hope that it would magically get the workers what they want."? How long has this been true? You might be right about the economic impact of a strike. But the one that would lose the most money would be the railroads which is kind of the point. It just seems hypocritical to this guy on the internet that President Biden, a life long supporter of unions, is siding with big bidness to force not having a strike cuz its inconvenient and could hurt his reelection chances.
  14. Looks like he could still play.
  15. They don't? The Vikings kicker missed an extra point with 4:38 to play In the 4th quarter making it only a 3 point game as opposed to 4. The Clowns kicker missed a 34 yard FG. The Lions kicker missed a 29 yard FG. It's our kicker that never misses.
  16. Loved him being a QB and #21. With WRs and DBs and LBs now wearing all the good QB numbers maybe one of them will pick a number in the 20s. My condolences to his family and fans.
  17. The Bills didn't lose any of those Super Bowls due to luck. They got flat out beat by the other team. When your kicker misses a FG, that's not unlucky, its a bad kick or hold. Besides, the Giants had a much better game plan to keep Kelly and company off the field. That's not luck. Sure luck plays a part in football cuz the football has a funny shape and bounces unpredictably. And we didn't lose any games this year due to luck. In any of the losses if we had played better earlier in the game it wouldn't have mattered. Kick the FG. Knock the football down. Don't fumble the snap. Etc. https://www.forbes.com/quotes/6145/
  18. Agree to disagree. I think it was cheating and you think it was an honest mistake. Cool. Have a nice day and Go BILLS.
  19. It was a mistake by the refs. If the play had been dead and he ran out on the field to help the guys celebrate he would or at least should have been flagged. I've seen it called several times. Again, he was wearing a defensive players number. He was right on the sidelines with his helmet on and buckled while he was not in the game. How convenient. And do you think he doesn't know the rules? I'm not giving them a pass. It was cheating pure and simple IMHO.
  20. I couldn't care less about these propeller head "advanced" stats. Means nothing IMHO. The only stat that matter is Wins and Losses. We're 8-3 and tied atop the AFC East. We're doin' good. Its not rocket surgery.
