I'm gonna be at that game and now am freakin' really looking forward to it even more now. I hope they do script Ohio. Terry dotting the I would be sweet. I played in the North Texas State University Fighting Mean Green Band and we were the BEST! But Ohio State will do. The band I play in now plays French National Defile which is the march they do script Ohio to. Thanks for posting this. Go BILLS !!

Why doesn't any Buffalo team just go with Buffalo Buffalos? They get close with Bills and Bisons and Bulls. Somebody is over thinking this. -
It was and the whole team showed up! A: Just one, unless it's a blow out. Then the whole team shows up.

I know, but it's dumb. A better one after the 2nd and 3rd SB was: Q: How many Bills does it take to change a flat tire? A:

What would you trade for Smith?

Who says? Do you think if they go deep in the playoffs this year that they'll want to dump their QB? The Ravens cut their QB after they won the SB so I suppose anything is possible. -
So if we scored 10 points and won we could never score any more points in any more games? I think it would have been AWESOME if we won 10 points and all. The Bills need to learn how to win close games at the end. The NFL is all about close games. The defending champs had 5 games decided by TD or less and the won 4 of them. The Fish had 10 of which they won 8. Meanwhile, we had 7 of which we lost 5. That's the difference between a playoff and non layoff team. Winning the close games. We need to learn how to do that. Winning a close one like that would have instilled confidence for the next one. As it is now, it often feels like when it's close at the end we start looking for the next show to drop. It's in large part a confidence and belief thing. BILLIEVE for real.

Coach McDermott needs to improve on game management some still. At the end of the 1st half with around 1:00 to pay, the Panthers had 3rd and 11. Cam threw a pass to a RB and we stopped them short of the sticks. But, there was a penalty on the play. Instead of declining it and forcing a punt, he took the penalty. (They were not in FG range.) The Panthers ran another play and punted. THEN he calls a timeout with :12 to play and Hotrod takes a knee. Odd. Only his second game, but still not good. Seeing how well we did the 2:00 at the end of the game, who knows, we may have been able to get points.

They did go to the AFC Championship in 2005 with Plummer as the man under. -
I'm calling BS on this one. The Bills belonged in THE Bowl 4 times. Didn't win, but they certainly belonged.

If your offense sputters and your team losses a lot of games as a result like Sunday, there ain't gonna be no long term for him. -

We got a first down on a pass into tight coverage over the middle. I didn't think Hotrod ever did that. -

I wish on plays like this he would step up and keep looking and throw. Pass blocking looked to be decent on that play. -

Agreed. It would be nice if we could find a QB that could put the football on the receivers hands. Yeah. Nice block by #79. -

I disagree. Most smart football coaches will roll with a really good QB for as long as they can. Only on TBD are fans clamoring to get the untested rook into real games. They make the playoffs every year and Alex is a big part of it. This would get a Billesque move (dumping Flutie to keep RJ) which probably means other teams are too smart to do that. But us getting Alex as our starting QB next year works for me! -
I still like this one.

This has been my theory on the Russia "hacking" the election from the beginning. They didn't get us by hacking into emails or voting machines or whatever. They snookered us with our own invention, FakeBook. People were shocked on election day because Mark Zuckerberg had been feeding them feel good articles about how awesome Hillary is and how Trump is a racist/sexist/homophobe/xenphobe for a year and a half. So did their echo bubble "friends". Of course, they used this and some ingenuity to their advantage. It's not illegal or underhanded, it's just how FakeBook works. I don't do social media but I have a very smart friend who is a FakeBook addict. During the run up to the election I was told several times that there were users on FakeBook that had just joined and had no followers that were spreading fake stuff. My friend would call them out and they'd go away. It was obvious to some FakeBook users what was going on. But most FakeBook users are sheeple who believe what all their friends do. A major concern I have now is that Congress will pass laws on what is fake news. Or, that Mark Zuckerberg will be the proprieter of what is fit to post or not based on his politics.

Maybe it's my misunderstanding of the game, but I thought winners were determined by POINT SCORED. Not on yards or TOP etc. Catch the freakin' football when it hits your hands. It's not that complicated. Actually what we have seen many times before is the Bills being in position to win IF someone steps up and makes the play, but they don't. Sunday was a shining example. A win would have told me that Coach McDermott had indeed changed the "culture" and "love" was paying off. Instead we just got another Chan Gailey/Dick Jauron style loss. Blowing it at the end had been the constant in the drought and is what has kept us out of playoffs. Fix that, and everything else will look a lot better.

Final Play--- drop or bad throw poll
reddogblitz replied to Mike in Horseheads's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good point. This is exactly why I don't buy into the whole tank thing. I have ZERO confidence that Bills FO will pick the right guy. I hold out a bigger hope that somehow Coach McDermott can somehow motivate the guys we have to play better and learn how to win these close games. The difference between making playoffs and not has less to do with QB passing stats and a lot more to do with team mates coming together and somehow someway winning the close games. Thats all the Fish did better than us last year. They beat us and the Clowns in OT. Meanwhile we blew our chances in very winnable games like Miami and Seattle. But yeah, keep hoping that McBeane is a draft hoss and will NEXT YEAR get us that golden armed franchise QB, and here we go. -
Denver doesn't want to come here.
reddogblitz replied to bobobonators's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Receivers not dropping the football on 3,Rd/4th down could go a long way to improving our offense. We has 3 drives killed that way last week. ....Are you sure?.... ....in 2017, the Panthers have given up 6 points while Denver has given up 38.....The Bills...20.... -

Seahawks won with 1TD pass and 198 yards. Heck we could have won with 150 last week if you know who catches you know what. -
My only concern is that once again were losing games wd should win because no one steps up. It's been constant in the drought. I was hoping the new "culture" and "love" would change that. Yet 2 games in, it continues.

Could we have upped the ante and offered another pick? If so, we should have. As to the original question, I would offer their 1 back. Then I'd go up from there to whatever it takes. I diagree with a lot of posters here who have their head stuck up a stat sheet. I believe Alex to he a great QB. He takes care of the football. Is accurate. Can run (I remember him running around Manny Lawson at the Ralph for a tD,) he makes big plays during the game resulting in wins. He's a leader. -

Just curious. The Seahawks only had 6 points in the first 53 mins. Did they "deserve" to win? The difference was, their guy caught the pass (it was not an easy catch) and our guy didn't.
