  1. Why is Phillip Rivers a "Franchis QB"? His team losses a lot and doesn't make the playoffs.
  2. I wish someone had told Beane Mabin was NOT part of the old regime. It's not even spelled the same.
  3. If you say so. Just win.
  4. I had no problem with the strategy. The problem was that it didn't work. If we are to be the kind of run team we want to be, we have to better in the 4:00 offense. Was thinking we may have been better to give Tolbert some up the middle runs there. We won, but it wasn't pretty enough. A blow out counts as much in the win column as a 1 point squeeker, as we well know. Classic football logic. If team A beats team B and team B beats team C, then team A > team C.
  5. Long picks are great. They're just like punts.
  6. Exactly. We also went 5-2 with Trent, and then 2-7.
  7. Wait until we get to 5-2 to see if it feels different. It will feel different when we clinch (queue up Jim Mora) PLAYOFFS.
  8. I too think we can beat beat the Panthers. They didn't make the playoffs either last year. Coach McDermott will want to win this REAL BAD. AND he has inside info. I hope we do.
  9. How high is high? Of the 7 active QBs that have won SBs, the Bills could have taken 4 of them but chose not to. Same with 7 of the 12 playoff QBs last year.
  10. This is what I've been wondering. How can a defensive coach such as himself put up with a guy that can't or won't tackle on D? That play where he dove under the runners feet, gave the Cheaps another 7 yards. On the TD to #27 he was further downfield when the football was caught but didn't even attempt to cut across field to tackle the guy. Instead he jogs paralell and ends up trailing him into EZ. I was surprised last year Rex put up with this nonsense, but he did. Not sure Bill BelLyache will. I suspect him to get benched at some point.
  11. Trailing the play. It's another service he provides.
  12. Let's not leave out Alan Branch.
  13. I laughed my A$$ off on that patented Gilmore tackle attempt. I'm not gonna miss him AT ALL.
  14. How so? 13-6 is 13-6. And yes they did miss the playoffs without Tommy, but they did go 11-5. That doesn't happen very often. Think about it, Bill Bellyache and the culture of cheat are 13-6 with Cassell, Garapalo, and Brisket. When Tommy leaves, if Bill Bellyache stays, they'll plug in the next man up and roll on. We only play 2 games a year vs them. We could go 14-2 and win the division if our problem not making the playoffs rested on Tommy's shoulders alone. We've split with them a few times but still lost to the Fish and Jets twice (last year) and a bad Raiders team (2015). That's why we're not making the playoffs.
  15. I wish they would bring back Flutie subs. They tasted like winning.
  16. Yet throughout all of this, the Jets and Fish have been able to make the playoffs twice each. Fish even won the division one year. Jets would have been 3 if not for Leodis. Heck, we could have made it last year if we only had a D. That's not Tommy's fault. And in games where Tommy hasn't played, the Patsies** are 13-6. As long as Bill Bellyache and the culture of cheat stays there will be no relief in sight IMHO. It's not a valid reason/excuse.
  17. I'd be ok with that as long as it is us with the 6.
  18. I wish wd had a QB that could get us to a playoff game to fumble in. Didn't one of the WRs fumble away a for sure TD in that game too?
  19. Perhaps, but he sure has heck would not have fumbled the football out of the back of the EZ like RJ did. After the resulting free kick the Titans scored their ONLY TD of the game. Nothing fires up a team and home crowd like a safety. The plum field position didn't hurt either. It was the only playoff game I've seen in my life where the starting QB and center had to practice snaps on the sidelines. So I'm with whoever said it initially, if Flutie starts that game we win going away and perhaps get back to the Super Bowl. If you don't like non nice guys winning, you'll love "the process".
  20. Come on Bills ShadyBillsFan. Stop trying to confuse us with facts.
  21. I would think that teams don't start putting their real plays and stuff in until AFTER final cuts. We wouldn't want Jonathon Williams to give our playbook to Denver for example. Or, some Patsies** staffer wearing Bills regalia to film us practicing our real plays at SJF.
  22. Fish made the playoffs last year in the same division as Patsies**. Jets and Fish have both made it twice during the Cheat era. What's our excuse?
  23. Ninety nine and forty four hundreths percent.
  24. I understand, I just think it's a dumb idea. Looked like to me in PS Nasty Nate worked predominantly from shotgun whereas Hotrod worked predominantly under center.
