  1. Beat me to it. Filled in for a bad clam poisoned Doug Flutie to lead the Bills to a Super Bowl win. My favorite part is when the Bills get to SB, they play the Vikings. Writers really knew their football history.
  2. This is what I hate about this whole protest thing. In our Walmart or Whole Foods/Blue or Red culture, if you kneel during the National Anthem, you hate America. If you stand, you're a racist.
  3. Have they heard of Twitter?
  4. IF THIS is legit. I'm reading it on the internet, so who know? Talk about a whole lotta words saying nothing. And it may he the first time I've ever heard football players described as "thoughtful, intelligent leaders".
  5. Playing for Pizza Great book. Would highly recommend it to anyone. I liked how in the 4 games after he signed but before he started, he would stand on the sidelines holding a football. Coach, put me in.
  6. You know I was coming back to suggest this. USMC Drum and Bugle Corps and Silent Drill Team.
  7. I would pick Wierd Al. His show is really entertaining. Or Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. Flutie Brothers. One of those 3.
  8. Like Hotrod did on Sunday and other QBs do too? I like Kyle and think he did a great job for us. However, it was only 12 games. Now if we had made the playoffs ...
  9. Serious question. Who says we play the National Anthem to honor those that fought for our country? Before they play it, the PA announcer says it's "to honor America". There are are a lot of other things to honor (or not) besides "those that have fought for our country". We have 2 national holidays for that. Veterans Day and Memorial Day. As a veteran, I find it disrespectful that the Bills and NFL have Co opted Veterans Day into a recruiting commercial. Those that did fight, did it to protect our freedom. Yet some are upset the players are exercising thier freedom. This whole thing makes no sense to me.
  10. Hotrod appears to be more comfortable and effective in the 2:00 offense this year.
  11. I thought EJ looked good in PS in his first game when he led the Bills on a 2 minute drill for a TD with the radio headset not working. I also thought he looked good in a win vs Jets with TJ Graham and Goodwin as starting WRs. He threw 2TDs in that game. Some people like Nasty Nate and that's cool, but no need to make stuff up.
  12. I don't know. I was born and grew up and lived in Dallas a long time. I was a HUGE Cowboy fan until Smiley bought the team. Saturday was the day to get your chores done so you could watch the NFL game on Sunday.
  13. They're probably just thinking about the game 8 years ago with Brohm as the man under.
  14. He looked like a childish fool. Whatever ... I switched over the Cheese game for a few minutes and saw Jordy Nelson's "celebration". After catching the football in the EZ, he tossed it to the ref, high fived the guys that came over to him, and trotted off the field. He's been there before and he'll be there again. It's what he does. Sort of like turning in TPS cover sheets on time.
  15. Only if Hotrod gets injured. Hotrod will let Nasty Nate touch the Lombardi after the game though.
  16. Why does everyone have to do the same thing? Isn't that what freedom is all about?
  17. I keep reading this. Yet, somehow rookie WR Robert Woods was able to get his hands on and hold onto 3 footballs per game (average) with EJ, Thaddeus Maximus, and Tuel Time throwing him the football. I have NEVER seen any alleged good WR having this much trouble catching the football when it hits him the hands. I hope you're right.
  18. Oops. I thought this thread was about Danny Villanueva. https://www.bloggingtheboys.com/2015/6/24/8836915/in-memorium-danny-villanueva-1937-2015
  19. We're in first place and they're not.
  20. No. Rex was a Terry and Kim hire.
