Tyrod Taylor held to higher standard bc he's black ?
reddogblitz replied to Game Manager's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
. I don't care about yards. Make the playoffs though and he goes on the ring and we build statue of him and put it next to the One of Ralph. -
What do the Bills do to fix this offense?
reddogblitz replied to Do The Reich Thing's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I guess some NFL people don't understand the concept of good QBs making bad WRs look good. Atlanta traded up to get Julio Jones when they had Matt Ryan. The Patsies** traded a golden ticket for Brandon Cooks. Morons. -
Zay Jones. 5 of 23 is pitiful

How long do the "yips" usually last? We're into our second month ... -
Tyrod Taylor held to higher standard bc he's black ?
reddogblitz replied to Game Manager's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I saw a program on NFL Network. They were talking to a retired coach and he said they don't even consider white guys for CB. Goes down to the college and high school level. They didn't consider Jason Seahorn until the coach they were talkng to saw him play basketball and realized he had the necessary skills. Blacks are 20% of the population. So there should be 6 black starting QBs in the NFL. I can think of 7. Hotrod, Russell Wilson, Jameis, Cam, Dak Attack, Kizer, and Watson. So actually, they are over represented. -

Interestingly, there are a lot more black quarterbacks than there are white Cornerbacks, and it ain't even close. -
Fire Rico Now; be done with it.

Is that how the Fish stopped him in game 16 last year? This whole every problem with the team is because of the QB is lazy. Last year the OLine was able to open gaping holes for McCoy and company despite stacked boxes. This year we change the blocking scheme and can't anymore. And this is the QBs fault? -

Hopefully they are better at the rest of the process. If as you suggest, the process is to tank, all indications now are that they aren't very good at it. -
McBrothers "Silent Tank" occurring?
reddogblitz replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Perhaps they were thinking that if the D had done better vs Bungles, like not giving up the bomb or the last FG, we would have won the game? That's how a defensive coach would look at. Same old Bills. Can't even lose right. -

I don't want to punish him. I just want to light a fire under his A$$. It's been 5 weeks of he'll get over it. He's hurting us and costing us games. How much easier of a pass can he get than the one he tipped to Holmes or the 3rd down drive killing bomb vs Falcons? I just have to question keeping sending him out there and babying him. It's the bigs. If you don't produce, you get replaced. Ask EJ. Not saying he'll never be good. I'm just saying a little dog house duty might do some good. -

The reddogblitz plan to fix the offense: 1. Dust off the Greg Roman playbook and put in last year's run plays. 2. Bring back a heavy dose of read option. 3. Activate Rielly and make Zay inactive for a few games. Might send him a message to clean up his act. 4. Put in some trick plays. 5. Throw at least 5 bombs per game. Zay and K Clay have both been open long but unable to catch the football. Even if no one catches any, you'll likely get at least 1 PI and get the D to back off a little. 6. First play after a turnover in enemy territory, go for the EZ. 7. Activate Barnyard and throw more passes to RBs. Put both him and McCoy in backfield at the same time. 8. EVERYBODY play better. Firing Rico and putting in Nasty Nate are pipe dreams. I suspect Rico will be back next year unless he quits. Continuity. If we suck again next year, Sean might fire Rico to keep his job. -

Mike McCoy. They wanted Hotrod. That's why they extended him. They could have let him walk if they didn't want him. -

I can't speak for eliteqb, but I suspect (s)he was thinking more along the lines of when Whaley brought in Marques Gray and Thigpen before the Packer game in 2014 and they had an immediate impact. Wether you like Whaley or not, he did have a knack for finding diamonds in the rough. -
Again, how can a switch to Peterman be any worse?
reddogblitz replied to SaviorPeterman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I saw a play I think in a college game last week that would be sweet for us to run. The QB pitched the ball to a RB on a sweep. The QB stopped and watched. Then, snuck outside and the RB threw it back to him. Some offensive lineman got out front of him. Like a QB screen. I could see that working really well for us. -
Chicago's "soda tax" gets repealed
reddogblitz replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
They wanted to do this on Seattle. But they said It wasn't fair because poor people drink regular soda while rich people drink more diet. so they tried to make it fair by taxing diet the same as regular. Finally, they gave up. -
Donald Jones on bringing in new receivers....
reddogblitz replied to Webster Guy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think this is over rated. You don't necessarily need a track star to go deep. K Clay got open deep vs the Falcons but misjudged the football so bad he couldn't catch it. Zay got open long vs Falcons too, but he did what he usually does on that one. You just gotta wing it out there 4 or 5 times a game with who you got IMHO. You might get lucky and the WR actually catches it or PI. -
No. 2 pick in the draft last night 12-25-1-128
reddogblitz replied to Foreigner's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He's a bust. I think his cieling dropped a little bit last night. Seriously though, he made a lot of rookie mistakes. -
I missed the Falcons game and was watching it last night. This dude (KC) can't track the football in the air. Hotrod threw him a long pass and he slowed up looking for it like it was going to he short and then at the last minute dove but couldn't reach it. If he had just kept running, it would have been in the right place to catch. He did one similar later on. That one might have still been over thrown, but he slowed down looking for it.
