I don't watch hockey BECAUSE of the fights. I'm sure hockey fans feel differently. But they could end the fighting if they wanted to. Anyone caught fighting gets tossed out for 3 games. But they do'n' want to obviously. As far as if they did allow fighting in football, all that would do would piss off whoever got the least in the fight to come back and get retaliation either on the field or in the next fight. I'm not for a couple if reasons. First, how many of the players knew what happened? It happened all the way across the field on the Patsies** sidelines. There was another fight going on mid field. The one dude did retaliate and got immediately flagged off setting The Gronk's. I would rather see our guys internalize it and use to focus on whipping them ON THE FIELD. If we're out there trying take cheap shots we probably won't he able to do much and we'll get killed and look like fools. It's not hockey where you can just drop the gloves and get it on. I've read this a lot on here. But I wonder how many of the players actually knew what happened? I didn't see it on the original play, only after watching replays of it on TV. I'm thinking a lot of them knew something happened, but how many knew that Gronk had thrown himself on the Tredavian Nightmare after the play. I thought he just got the wind knocked out of him at first. Anyway, just wondering if players really knew exactly what happened like those of us watching replays on TV did. From field level you don't get the same view as on replays on TV.
