It's gotta be some psychological/motivational/emotional/process funk thing. We were competetive and winning a majority of games for the first 7 weeks. Then the last 2, the wheels fell off. Same guys. Same guys that WERE stopping the run. Same guys that were scoring 30 points 2 games in a row. Hoping Coach McDetmott can get his mojo back.

While this was a really bad game, there have been others that were at least as bad. 2011 44-7 to the cowboys 2012 50-7 to the Hawks in Toronto I remember us getting trounced on NE on MNF or TNF one year That year we got trounced by Jets on opening day I'm sure I'm missing a few.

I'm hoping he balls out. Great hands can be contagious. I saw this in Seattle on 2005. In 2004 they couldn't catch the football with a 2 bushel basket. Then they got Joe Jurevicius who caught everything. Suddenly the others guys were making good catches too. They went to SB with a great passing and running attack.

I have an easy fix for the Thursday Night Game. Teams play on Thursday following the bye week. No game for 11 days followed by no game for 10 days. Problem solved. Since they are all division matchups, shouldn't be too hard to schedule.

Marching bands are cool. I was at the Bucs game where the Ohio State band played at it was AWESOME. I'd LOVE to see them have Grambling or some other southern band like that. I would much rather see that than washed up rockers and pop stars lip syncing. What do YOU have in mind?

Saints haven't beaten a team with a winning record yet. I hope we're not the first. Not sure what to expect either. I hope we come out like we did vs Raiders. Hopefully Drew doest slice and dice our secondary. I'm hoping for a win.

I agree completely. When I watch old games on internet and TV it's cool that they don't have that dumb scoreboard there ALL THE TIME. I'm watching the game. I know what the down and distance is. Instant Replay challenges and booth reviews ruined that years ago. Used to in the last 2:00 if you didn't have time outs, there was no game stoppage. Now they have to review a lot of plays and teams get free time outs. I also remember that Mike Martz was the king of challenging something dumb to slow a team momentum when the opponent was on a roll. Really, the only way to watch football now days is to TiVo the game and start watching it about an hour after it starts. Then you can just fast forward through all the BS. Although that is difficult for people who can't stay off their smart phones for a couple of hours

I like to have reasonable discussions about politics with people I disagree with IF we can remain calm and respectful. I only know 2 such people in the world, my brother and my mother in law. Politics is like religeon to most people and they have to win. Their way or you're an idiot. I would NEVER "confront" anyone about differing political beliefs. Who am I to tell anyone else what to think?

As brilliantly pointed out by YOLO on another thread, the Jets, Falcons, and Raiders would all be over .500 if they hadn't been beaten by the Bills. Something to think about.

Blah, blah, blah. She's good. Evidently Seth Rich is on the do not ask list. She says in her book after his death she feared for her life. She referred to his death as to being like burying a child. (if she has never done this she has no idea what she's talking about, but I digress) She dedicated the book to her father, mother, aunt, uncles, a friend and advisor, her departed Pomeranian, and Seth Rich and NO ONE asks about it? I watched the interview sited above and Tucker's interview. Probably 45 minutes worth. Not a mention. Tucker seemed more intent on digging up dirt about CNN. Color me dissapointed. Does anyone know if she even knew who he was before the "botched robbery"? I've tried to find out but have found nothing. Did they have some sort of relationship?

I agree. It has totally ruined college fooltball because they review everything. NFL is almost as bad. And base ball? As if there's not enough standing around already. Instant Replay was originally to fix the blatant bad calls. Now they scrutinize and slice and dice it to death. If we were up to me, we'd dump it entirely.

Makes perfect sense. If it weren't for football, I'd hate the NFL. Unless they have a lot of "extra time" and then it goes to 30 minutes of overtime and then penalty kicks. But yeah it is pretty sweet that the whole game is about 2 hours. And no commercial time outs.

In the interest of player safety maybe they should make a rule for Thursday Night games that only scrubs can play.
