  1. But sometimes then it turns out, you don't ...
  2. Is this a bad thing?
  3. You do realize that at the moment, the Bill are holding down the 6th seed wild card spot, right? We haven't fallen short of anything yet.
  4. My point was that even dumpster fire QBs like EJ don't throw 5 Ints in their first half of action. So after 1 start, EJ was light years ahead of Nate. It's sad, but the kid stinks. I hope he doesn't see the field til pre season if he is still on the team.
  5. EJ's first start he threw 2TDs and no Ints vs the Patsies**. He had had less coaching and grooming than Nate Peterpan had. Get off it. He wasn't even that good in PS. The kid stinks. 6. Sign Case and draft a QB high.
  7. I'd give Brees whatever he wants + 10%. He ain't too old for me (and the Bills).
  8. When I see a QB come in and start chucking and ducking, I know he's a NFL (Not For Long) QB.
  9. EJ Manuel 18 for 27 170 2TD 0 Int JP Losman 18 for 27 150 1 TD 0 Int
  10. Yeah but a "franchise QB" doesn't need any help. He can win it on his own. No good team mates needed.
  11. I will give you that. But we were in the top 5 in points given up the first several games. Our D PLayed well vs Jets, Carolina, Atlanta, Broncos, and Raiders. They weren't that bad against the Bungles either. It's really only been bad the last 3 weeks when it has been horrible and coincides with Mr Big Stuff's exit.
  12. How exactly were we lucky? I hear this over and over. But what I remember from early season turnovers is they were the result of heads up play. Somebody put a hat on the football causing a fumble vs Raiders. That's not luck, that's a text book hit. The Tredavian Nightmare got his 1st career pick vs Denver due to the QB making a bad pass under a heavy pass rush. That's not luck, that's good team defense. Please help me out Gug. Can you identify a few of these "lucky" turnovers and how they were a result of luck as opposed to skill?
  13. Pardon me if I take the rest of your predictions with a shaker of salt based on you pre season prediction. Couldn't be much more wrong when we surpassed your win total in week 7 ...
  14. How is it too late to win? We're in 7th position tied record wise for 6th. It's time to win. I think this drought has made Bills fans forget how winning and playoffs work. Giving up and saying it's too late to win with 7 to play holding down a WC spot proves it. Woe is us. LOL
  15. I absolutely agree we need a better QB. Where you and I disagreed is that I think Hotrod a the best we got, so we should go with him instead of a 5th round rookie. Yes I know Tommy was a 6th rounder be he didn't play as a rookie. My fear is they surely can clean house, but can they re stock the house? McDermott's ability to determine who is a good QB or not, is now highly suspect. When he says a guy is ready and can help us get to playoffs and that QB has the worst performance in NFL history, makes me wonder about his QB evaluations. They bet the ranch on the draft. I hope they can deliver ...
  16. While I insist on instant gratification, i do disagree with the assessment that "the whole things needs to be tore down" or whatever. MCDermott took over the 10th highest scoring offense. He took over a D that was mismanaged, but had 2 years before with a lot of the same guys was top 5. Over the 3 previous seasons we were exactly .500 ( 24-24). Not good enough, bur far from bottom of the barrel IMHO. However now that we've run off a lot of talent that will need to get replaced, feels more like we're spinning our wheels. We'll see. I would have rather seen us build on what we have, but that doesn't appear to get the plan. 17. Maybe we should stop trying to cheap Charlie the most important position. I could he on board with going after Cousins and use all those draft picks on O Line, WR, and defense.
  18. That was Russ Brandon. Try to keep up
  19. I think us finishing at 8-8 this year would be great! I'D rather do better though. Again, only on TBD are improved results over last year seen as a negative You build a winner by winning so guys learn how to win and believe they can win which goes a long way to winning. I thought we were doing that the first 7 weeks. Winning is a habit, but unfortunately so too is losing. Nobody is going to learn anything by losing on purpose (starting Nate Peterpan). I suspect there will be a mass Exodus of veterans leaving or trying to. McCoy ain't gonna wanna stay here. Jerry Hughes I doubt likes losing on purpose. Matthews and Gaines will find a team that wants to win this decade. I see nothing good coming from this except the same ole same ole. Go balls out to win every game during the season and do everything you can to build your team in the off season I say. Evidently many of y'all and Coach McDermott disagree. Thanks for clearing that up Hillary. It is a vast single wing conspiracy.
  20. I'm going with incompetent.
