Biggest issue for me with new Punter is him getting comfortable with Bass on FG attempts. Other than that Just need Martin to be average elsewhere and we are fine.

4 weeks will not make or break season. Will allow us to get the other corners more reps and help with their development. I rather be safe than sorry with Tre and have him ease back into football activities. I think our rush defense will be much stronger this year. I don't see teams running ball down our throats which will allow everyone else to focus on pass coverage and if we can generate sufficient pressure with the front four our secondary should be fine.

They never said they were forgoing anything. It appears law enforcement have dragged their feet on this. Araiza may still be charged criminally. Have to believe civil suit was filed to bring attention to this matter and due to the fact there were time constraints in doing so.

Yeah at this point that is his best case scenario. I mean if you have a boyfriend and girlfriend who are both 17 at the time. However, the boyfriend is technically older. Is it still considered rape the moment he turns 18 while his girlfriend is still 17. Under California law that would appear to be the case. Whatever the reason Matt needs to step away from football and handle his personal situation. It is bad enough he did end up sleeping with a minor. Even worse if he was involved in the alleged gang rape of this woman. So I am in the camp of releasing him and not have this situation drag into the season.

Have to believe it was football related as Araiza did not hold in college. I seriously doubt Araiza would have been drafted if they knew about this situation. Now we can question how in their pre draft process and background checks this ended up being missed. However, I believe the Bills found out about this just recently at least a few weeks ago. Genuinely curious how much McDermott knew about this situation and if there is any disconnect between Beane and him. Releasing Haack looks like a poor decision in retrospect.
