Still think offense is going to need to put up 30. Defense needs to force turnover at some point. -
Yeah if he wants to make a run at another Super Bowl whether that is here or another team those are the sacrifices you need to make. If he is more concerned about his long term earning potential he should look to come back in 2023. I don't see any team handing him long term deal this year. Come next year any deal will also probably be considered 1 yr prove it deal with added years tacked on if he can prove that is healthy and able to perform at high level.
-
OBJ needs to settle on deal for remainder of the season if I was Beane. I don't care much about him playing in the regular season as long as he is able to practice with team for next month while trying to get up to speed with the offense. Josh and him can put in some work on the side to get some familiarity with each other and some reps in practice once OBJ is comfortable. Team can then determine whether or not he has a chance to contribute in the post season. He can then go look for longer term deal next year but imagine he will need to settle for a 1 yr prove it deal regardless of the team.

Updated Beasley signing to practice squad
billieve420 replied to Niagara Dude's topic in The Stadium Wall
Feelings aside for me it is simple these are no risk moves. If either Brown or Beasley can contribute put them on the field. Both have familiarity with the QB and if it doesn't work out can move on easily. Come playoffs it is going to be all hands on deck. I like Brown's ability to stretch the field and Beasley in the slot over Mckenzie in critical situations. Brown almost had that bomb last week against the Jets where ball was slightly underthrown. Sauce made a great play to break it up last minute. -

Yeah from a football standpoint if he can help the team rest of it doesn't matter much. He just needs to avoid making himself a distraction once here and focus on football. -

I am all for him returning but Beane needs to stress to him about not being a distraction. Keep his opinions to himself and just play ball. Reporters will be looking for soundbite out of him. -
Hoping Shakir starts getting more opportunities as we get closer to the playoffs. Having tough time trusting McKenzie in big spot.
-
Can’t fault defense for much but not getting off the field on 3rd and long is infuriating.

Nothing else to say other than bad luck in regards to the injury. Have questioned this team’s mental makeup before. Bills were Super Bowl contenders prior to Von arriving and they still are. Hopefully we see the other guys step up and the coaches put them in the best position to succeed.

I’m kind of Over the Hines Experiment
billieve420 replied to EmotionallyUnstable's topic in The Stadium Wall
Even if he doesn’t end up doing much on offense this year. Having him return kicks is a huge improvement. I personally would like him to split out wide more and be used as check down option for Josh. Cook while athletic seems very uncoordinated and scares me running pass routes out there. -

Hate watching this Oline -
Jerry Jones won’t care. Hopefully Cowboys bid against themselves.

Yeah imagine that dictating to the offense how you want to play versus sitting back and letting them attack you. -
Tre'Davious White - when will he be ready?
billieve420 replied to Deadstroke's topic in The Stadium Wall
If Bills were winning this would be a non-issue. Rather let the rookies get as many snaps as possible especially if White is not all the way back in terms of performance this year.
