Yeah anything could happen but I will give the staff benefit of the doubt when it comes to coaching up DBs. That is one position they have done well with. Think a lot of Elam’s issues can be corrected.

Reading up on Elam seems like kid has his head on straight and is the type of Football player the Bills love. He comes from a family who has played in the league and I expect him to be able to handle the challenges that come with playing in the NFL. Love seeing him request that the Bills playbook be on the plane with him as he travels to Buffalo. With the run on CBs and WRs. I am sure they didn’t want to leave anything to chance if Elam was last player with 1st round grade at position being targeted. KC GM essentially said that was their reason for trading up to 21 for McDuffie was that they didn’t want to lose him to the Bills. Buffalo did the same to prevent someone else from trading up in front of them to take Elam. It is a long shot for any mid to late round draft pick to make this team with the roster being stacked. Now if the Bills were rebuilding I would be more hesitant to make a move like this. However, team is in win now mode and it is Super Bowl or bust despite what is said. I could see them packaging some late round picks to move up in the 2nd as well wouldn’t surprise me.

I could see Edmunds getting the Franchise tag if he does not take leap this year and team is uncertain about paying him long term. If team decides to move him it probably won’t be till next offseason.

For a super bowl contender it does make sense no matter how you try to rationalize it. No guarantees 4th rd pick even makes team.

Lot of Elam’s issues look to be technique related after battling injury issues in ‘21. Feel good about staff coaching him up. Can never have enough corners in a passing league.

Doesn’t preclude someone from jumping the Bills and taking the guy they wanted anyway.

With the amount of money Apple will be shelling out if it happens doubt it. Imagine it will be in addition to their current Apple TV service. Now I could see them offer some promo like buy Apply streaming box and get Sunday ticket and year of Apple TV for free. However, chances are low it will be covered under their current subscription rates. The whole plan would be for people to buy their service and upsell additional services.

All stadiums are a bad deal. I am sure it won’t be the last thing the government wastes its money on. State will eventually recoup all its money and more before the lease is up.
