It isn’t any different from Daboll who listened to feedback from the players. I think it is fine to have open communication with the players as long the coach remains in charge and runs things the way he wants. Also, having experienced coaches in Brady and Kromer will help a first time play caller in Dorsey.

2021 Bills ST coach Heath Farwell joins the Jags
billieve420 replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
Apparently Bass wasn't in the Special Teams huddle and never got the call. Reason why there was confusion once he kicked into the end zone. So obviously there was some miscommunication and probably why Farwell is no longer coaching here. -

Kicking on the side apparently. -
Quinton Spain comments on release from the Bills
billieve420 replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
No issues with how the team handled things here. It is one thing to earn a contract and it is another to keep it. If Spain couldn’t handle some competition for his spot team made right decision moving on. -
Brian Flores suing NFL, NY Giants, Dolphins, Broncos.
billieve420 replied to BillsFan4's topic in The Stadium Wall
Would make sense but not all those reports came after he was fired. Seems Flores had issues with people throughout the organization including their QB they wanted to build around. -
Just saying... Jim Schwartz is out there looking for DC job

Honestly don’t see Frazier leaving. I would prefer if Sean takes over play calling next season but don’t see it happening. -
Spotrac has Levi Wallace valued @ $9M/yr. Thoughts?

Bye Levi nice knowing you. -
I like someone on the staff who has called plays before. This will be beneficial to Dorsey as he gets acclimated.

He was but doesn’t mean they couldn’t disagree on selection. If Grier was in control of 53 and wanted Tua and other people agreed. Flores could have went along with the majority which could have included the owner even if he preferred someone else. I wouldn’t be surprised if this was main contention between the Front office and HC which lead to his firing. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10013297-dolphins-rumors-brian-flores-preferred-to-draft-justin-herbert-over-tua-tagovailoa https://thespun.com/nfl/afc-east/miami-dolphins/report-brian-flores-tua-tagovailoa-got-into-shouting-match -

What people say in public and behind closed doors are two separate things. Not surprised he would back his QB. However, his actions spoke otherwise like when he benched Tua for Fitzpatrick. I don’t think he was in love with Tua and Dolphins as a team looked into trading for Watson last year. So definitely believe not everyone in that organization was sold on Tua being the long term answer. -

Maybe all things being equal majority of owners and GMs which are white are going to hire people they relate to in a lot of instances. Until you start seeing more diversity at top starting with owners there will always be some discrepancy. However, life isn’t fair and even then doesn’t guarantee anything. Shad Khan is a non white owner and none of his hires so far have included a minority coach. -

Apparently Flores wanted Herbert. There was also this report. There was some rift between Flores and Grier my guess mainly over the QB and Ross stuck with his GM. https://www.nbcsports.com/boston/patriots/nfl-rumors-did-brian-flores-tell-tua-tagovailoa-hed-rather-have-mac-jones -

Ross is white and hired a black GM Grier and HC in Flores. Could it be that Schoen had ties to Daboll and that familiarity helped him get hired. It is not a cut and dry case. -

From all reports out of Miami appears he was difficult to work with and had caused a lot of friction within the team and FO. -

Maybe he should have reported that to HR and the league if Ross allegedly did what he was claiming at the time it happened. There is a reason why companies have ethics training. Seems like he is trying to settle some scores and pass it off as him taking a stand for the betterment of everyone else. Will see what comes from this. Maybe he is paid to settle out of court. However, I have hard time seeing any organization wanting to deal with him in the future. -
That is my hope Josh reaches a point to where it doesn’t matter who is holding that clipboard. So if Josh wants Dorsey he gets the benefit of the doubt.

It won’t matter much if he is telling truth or not. Clubs will view him as a liability and potential risk moving forward. Same deal with Kaepernick his talent wasn’t worth dealing with the distraction he would bring and effectively ended his career. -

Flores dug his grave here. Don’t ever see him getting another head coaching job in the NFL again. -
Bills play soft like they are coached. Props to Cincy for making adjustments.

Makes the Bills defensive failures all the worst. However, love KC taking the L there.

I want to keep same offensive system in place. Hoping we can keep Dorsey who Josh has a good relationship with and guy he has endorsed.

Frazier getting second interview with Joe Schoen and NYG
billieve420 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
McDermott is not absolved of any blame. He is CEO of team and owns failures in all 3 phases of the game. Defense, Offense, and Special teams. However, I have seen enough of Frazier led defenses not just with the Bills that he is conservative by nature. -

McDermott can groom someone while promoting from within during this transition period if Frazier leaves. Super bowl window may never be as big as it is now. McDermott needs to slay the KC dragon next year. It is no longer about making the playoffs. McDermott/Beane should be graded on getting this team to the Super Bowl. -

I think I would like to see McDermott call plays on defense. When he took play calling away from Frazier for like that 1 game they were much more aggressive. -

Honestly think it was Frazier’s conservative nature which hurt the Bills down the stretch in that Chief’s game and here is hoping he gets one of these HC openings. One of his former players even seemed to indicate this. Former Viking linebacker Ben Leber said on radio here in MN the other morning that Leslie Frazier used to call such conservative defense late in games, players discussed in-huddle changing the call on the fly. Looks like he still calls it that way…
