  1. Miami just dropped 3 years/$29 million, $18.5 million guaranteed for Kiko. No way are they paying big for ZB now. Edit: Yolo beat me to the punch
  2. Between Carpenter and Gay they were over $3 million in kicker cap hits so I guess this technically is a cap saving AND they gain a roster spot?
  3. Zuttah can also play the guard spots, but is 30 y/o as well. He was making slightly over $4.1 million a year, Baltimore cut him to save $2.4 million.
  4. 1) possibly, depending on who you ask 2) OP asked if any pro player had ever played at 5'11, 260 and did not specify position. I provided our new bowling ball goal line back as an even more stout example
  5. Yeah I can't choose between these two. Either could be a real difference maker on the back end
  6. Tolbert is on the Panthers 2016 roster at 5'9, 250 so you know he's over 250
  7. I'm fairly positive that you don't expect every NFL QB with a shot to start to become a gun slinging hall of fame QB but that's just me
  8. I'm sure it's been said already but I'm not reading every post. Coming here would be the worst thing that can happen for this kid. Our fans would immediately saddle him with unrealistic expectations, which he will never meet, and then crap all over him when he's not the second coming of Uncle Jim.
  9. This would kind of suck. I thought Groy did pretty well at center, not great, and got more help from the guards than Wood did, but admirable. I thought they would keep him around for a few years, maybe use him as a cheap replacement for Incognito at LG or Wood at C after this season. Note they can cut Incognito after 2017, and save roughly $6.5 million ($7.575 cap hit or $1.15 million dead money). Cutting Wood today would save only about $3.25 million
  10. Yeah and even last year, where he was rough for the first half of the season, his yards/catches allowed per game, per PFF, ended up being something like 2.5 catches and 40 yards PER GAME. Definitely awful.
  11. Can we keep the good posters and send the dumdums back?
  12. So much salt. Sooooo much. Y'all must be upset that you were wrong about him being so terrible since the Patriots paid him and just can't let that anger go
  13. $3.25 million isn't starter money...
  14. Can someone take this thread, send it to OBD and beg them to bring BBMB back? I already miss the way TBD was.
  15. Well, Bill does need a new whipping boy now that his tried and true favorite is off to Foxboro
  16. They're not getting 30 mil contracts. Look at the Terrance Williams deal for a comp.
  17. I don't think we've talked about comp picks enough. Let's do it some more
  18. If they take Zay Jones at #10 I will quit this team forever. He looks like he might be a pretty nice player but he is not a top 10 pick. Trade down and get him? Sure.
  19. They could add Wright as the slot guy then draft an outside receiver in the first few rounds
  20. I think they will grab a couple of vets at WR here on the second wave of free agency. Now that Terrance Williams has re-signed with Dallas at 4 yr/17 mil the market for that tier is set. That deal should be similar to what guys like Kamar Aiken, Kendall Wright and Brian Quick should get. I'd be surprised if the Bills didn't get one of those 3 and then someone on a lower tier and/or a 2nd/3rd round rookie to fill in the depth chart.
  21. I haven't seen any figures on the Poyer signing but if I had to ballpark it I would say that's about correct. Tyrod's restructure saved about $6 million, which roughly covers the Dimarco, Tolbert and Hauschka signings. The release of Graham and Carpenter combined saved around another $6 million which covers the Hyde signing depending on the structure of the deal. Aaron Williams savings won't hit the books until 6/1. I'd guess they're down a couple million total in cap space
  22. I was surprised when it was Williams over him yesterday. What's the next move?
  23. I like Williams and Davis both, but I like Davis more
  24. He is 27 years old, not 37. He will get another contract with some term after this one ends following the 2020 season unless his play completely falls off a cliff. It matters.
  25. It could be argued by his agent that playing RT diminishes his future value since LT is paid higher.
