  1. I believe Morelli crews have a history of throwing few flags and blowing big calls when they do throw them. Expect to be disappointed by the stripes this week
  2. Saying they look like a completely different offense with Lazor in charge is a bit misleading too. If you look at it quickly, sure, that's the case. But the fact is that they came out guns blazing against Green Bay. They hung 21 points in the first half, which should be expected in that scenario. A team with that much offensive talent is coming off a long rest with a new OC and executing his planned script with precision. The defense is probably seeing new wrinkles of the scheme that weren't there before on film and the offense is capitalizing. That's how it should go. And then halftime comes and the Packers make adjustments and wouldn't you know it, the Bengals had 125 yards and 3 points for the rest of the game. Then last week, they faced the Browns.
  3. LOL Zay is a reception monster in NCAA for years and fights the ball in the NFL for a couple games and all of a sudden he has bad hands. Recency bias much? Kid caught 399 balls in college. He doesn't have bad hands. To use hockey terminology, he's gripping the stick too tight right now
  4. Sal Capaccio said yesterday morning on WGR that once a guy is signed to the 53 they get 3 game checks anyway so it probably makes the most sense to just bring up Reilly or Dupre. With the bye week, Matthews might only miss 3 games so that kind of works out
  5. I like plenty of people that are A-holes. I probably am one. My friends can be. Just because I like them doesn't mean they aren't. Just means I can tolerate their brand of A-holery, and they can tolerate mine
  6. I mean, I think if there's one thing all can agree on, whether you agree with the man's politics or not, he is definitely an A-hole
  7. Couldn't agree more. It's a nice changeup and miles better than the red on red look. However if I had to rank them, it would be: 1a) Blue jersey, white pants 1b) White jersey, blue pants Distant 3rd) Blue on blue 4th) Red on red N/A) White on white - I don't remember seeing them wear this any time recently
  8. Yes. I think they *can* win 4 of the first 5 games, if everything goes right. But I don't think they *will* beat Carolina and/or Denver.
  9. You can re-sign the player when the amount of weeks you settled for + 6 weeks has passed. So if they settled with Streater to pay him for say, 4 weeks, they could sign him after week 10.
  10. Guys, it's time to let the Gilmore thing go. Kind of sad we are still doing this, really.
  11. Because my tickets were paid for before they went all in on blowing up the roster, so I don't have a choice
  12. As soon as he passes that concussion test, Yates is gone. If they cut him now, they have to reach an injury settlement. If they wait until he's healthy, see ya guy.
  13. I cannot get behind this move at all
  14. Gross. Two terrible moves with no justification
  15. Unless he gets suspended this is absolutely mind boggling
  16. Never forget the Ed Eagan Era.
  17. Waiver claims submitted by noon, I believe I saw yesterday PS guys can be named at 1:00
  18. Using Spotrac, I see $933k this year and $167k next year for a post 6/1 release. Either way, just a drop in the bucket to cut some dead weight
  19. Figure it out yourself, using Spotrac. The next time you add anything useful to a discussion will be the first. Thanks for stopping in.
  20. I agree with you on this. Moving the pocket with rollouts is a huge staple of the Shanahan offensive scheme. Dennison is a Shanny disciple via Kubiak. We haven't seen a single designed rollout in the preseason to my knowledge. They are playing it as vanilla as possible. Whether that is to mitigate injury risk, work on Taylor's weaknesses, keep the element of surprise for the regular season, or some combination of the 3, I am not sure.
  21. Agreed. Richie's cap hit swells to $7.575 million after this season with only a modest $1.15 million dead cap hit if he is cut. This is probably his last year in Buffalo. Save nearly $6.5 million and slide Groy in at LG.
  22. Bless your heart you silly troll. How you haven't been given the banhammer yet is amazing
