  1. The "Sandberg Game" remains one of the best regular season games of all time...I was watching with two Cardinal fans who were going absolute bonkers after his HRs.
  2. You are correct. They don’t take Confederate money. 😄
  3. If I’m around and not doing much, I may tune in, but I won’t make time to watch.
  4. Who's Elam Fairing? Whoever he is, I'm glad he's doing well in Dallas
  5. Astro is the hardest working man at camp. Thank you, kind sir.
  6. Yes, that's what I meant...two games with the throwbacks. For some reason, Nike can't make a blue throwback jersey.
  7. So, we have two throwbacks coming, home and road. The red helmet against the Jets in the finale. And what sounds like a winter white-out in October. The Bills have one of the top five kits in the league...hate to mess with it...and I have no hope Nike will come up with something tolerable in October.
  8. Add Rochester native Chuck Mangione to the list.
  9. Thought the same thing...
  10. The Savannah Bananas would like a word...
  11. Christmas Day 1993, on the eve of what would then be the coldest game in Bills history, the team put out a call for people to come clear the stadium of snow for the next day's game. Many showed up, for the maybe $10/hour shift. most really needing the money and many without proper winter attire. After practice, seeing the dozens of people clearing the stadium, Marv went into the Bills locker room and rounded up coats, hats, and gloves for the many workers without. I went to the game the next day and it was indeed a bone-chilling cold...and a hard fought division clinching win against the Jets. While the game was indeed memorable, the biggest take-away for me was the thoughtfulness and generosity Marv exhibited the day before.
  12. Great topic and shared anecdotes. Should be pinned until Marv’s birthday.
  13. Within two years, we'll either be in WNY or the Gettysburg, PA area.
  14. From 1968-1972, Raiders were my AFL/AFC team...always on TV, exciting offense, etc. Watched OJ run for 250 yards in the 1973 opener, went to the first home game at the new Rich Stadium on Sept. 30, 1973, and have never looked back.
  15. To me, it looks like a taco holder...
  16. Exactly. I've had some tell me the Kincaid drop was a harder catch than the Ronnie Harmon debacle. I disagree. An NFL receiver has to come up with that ball.
  17. Eddie Haskell was a regular on LITB, but Lumpy always brought a strong game whenever he was called upon.
  18. Agree on Luger; Levine (as Insp. Luger often times referred to him as) and Nick Yemana were regular cast members.
  19. More fodder for the Hard Knocks cameras...
  20. Bills did win a wildcard game in 1981 at the Jets.
  21. Yes, there were several opportunities to spike the ball and conserve some time...but it worked out perfectly.
