  1. Replace one prima donna with another?
  2. We don’t know how good Joe Brady may turn out to be, but obviously coaching definitely matters. Andy Reid got rid of T. Hill and was left with Kelce, has beens (MVS) and rookies. The KC offense had its struggles and the team relied more on the defense but when the playoffs came they could rely on Rice and the others to make enough plays to win it all again. Reid had them ready to play. As the OP stated, this team is mainly Josh Allen. He’s the only one teams have to game plan for. So, when you don’t have the marquee players, it comes down to coaching and scheming. Look at the Niners. They do have the weapons in Kittle, Aiyuk , McCaffrey and Deebo Samuel, but Shanahan also figured out that you could have receivers running around all over behind the line of scrimmage so he used that to advantage. By season’s end, a couple of teams copied that approach but I don’t recall seeing the Bills try it once. Good coaching comes up with ideas that the opposition isn’t prepared for. Then, when the opponents adjust, you try something else. This can make your team very successful, even with just very good players.
  3. Just saw a mock on NFL.com by MJD where he has KC getting Worthy, who he refers to as Tyreke Hill 2.0. Ugh!
  4. If they were going to do this trade of a vet, it should’ve been done before the start of the league year. You had , Poyer and Morse as assets to deal rather than just letting them go. Likely they tried but had little interest. After some thought, I also better understand trading Diggs now if they were going to deal him. With the WRs considered so highly for this draft, chances are most teams would’ve rather waited to see how the draft turned out and be less likely interested in dealing draft assets for Diggs and taking on his contract. Having found an interested team, and having to deal late round picks along with Diggs, Beane may have had to bend over backwards to get the Texans to accept a deal. There also may have not been any other serious teams. Interesting also that the WR needy Giants, with ex-Bills at GM and head coach didn’t trade for Diggs.
  5. I believe Larry Fitzgerald could be a 1st ballot HOFer.
  6. I did not like him but I’d put a few others ahead of him. John Rauch for not planning the offense around the Heisman Trophy winning RB OJ. Hank Bullough had a horrible record (4-17) and was in over his head. He also frequently had halftime leads followed by the team doing nothing in the 2nd half. Harvey Johnson had a horrible record (2-23) but he was always the interim coach after the head coach was fired.
  7. Unless you’re named LeBron James. You are correct sir. Sent in Rasual Douglas trade. Expected a 3rd round compensation pick but it ended up a 4th.
  8. The Jets sold their souls to win Super Bowl 3. They’ll be paying for it forever. Two years ago, Breece Hall got injured. Last year it was Rodgers. I expect injuries on their defense this year.
  9. Yet, people on this board just continue to feed the trolls.
  10. And you can thank the late Al Davis for it. The Raiders started this PSL crap when they moved back to Oakland from LA. Then his son, Mr Bowl Haircut, leaves again to Vegas.
  11. You also have the NILs, while it wasn’t right for schools to solely benefit from players, ruining college sports.
  12. Actually, 2 gives you a better chance of one being a good pro.
  13. I voted Yes but went by the post title before looking at the details. I would trade the 2025 pick to get Harrison or Odunze, not for the other receivers. There’s enough of them that are similar that, Yes, it could be like trading up for Sammy when you could’ve just taken Mike Evans. #hindsight
  14. How about trading said pick, along with others, to acquire a WR that has turned into a malcontent B****, when you could’ve stayed put and taken Jefferson?
  15. In 1970, the Bills drafted an OT named Richard Cheek.
  16. But the gloves will affect the clapping sound. 👏🏻
  17. It will be so satisfying when, after all this buildup of the Jets and Dolphins, the Bills win the AFC East yet again.
  18. Are Toohills better than Juanhill?
  19. We have no way of knowing how well McGovern can play center until preseason games, etc. There’s just as good of a chance that he’s very good as there is for a rookie who’s never played in the NFL. I’d count on the veteran.
  20. And unfortunately his early success with Colorado has only inflated is ego more. Hugely.
  21. Trade lower picks for a 3rd. Right now, we’re looking at going 67 picks between our 2nd and the first 4th round pick. I hope Beane can control himself this year and not give up picks to move up a few spots for a guy he wants. I have some doubts and his track record hasn’t been good.
  22. I have a feeling that, after signing Samuel, that they could go BPA in the first round, and take a WR with their 2nd or 4th pick.
  23. Yep, I saw the trade on another site and also thought “we could’ve had him for a 4th?”. Then I saw we signed Curtis Samuel and calmed down. I don’t believe the Bills would’ve been able to take on Allen’s salary. Samuel is similar in play style to the guy he shares a surname with, Deebo, with respect to speed and running from the backfield. Obviously a level or two below. And the Carolina connection continues. 🙄
