  1. I'd love it. That's one of my favorite names. He does fit better with the Dawg Pound though. See what I did there...Bark...Dawg Pound.
  2. One of the saddest things I ever saw was when Dick Clark kept doing his Rockin New Years Eve after his stroke. I'm sure he wanted to do it but it was tough to watch and hard to understand him.
  3. Hackenbarf? NFL.com did a team by team analysis of draft needs and possible selections. Brissett was listed as one of the QBs to be considered. Based on Kelly's past, I think he should return to Ole Miss for another year, which means he probably won't.
  4. OK, for comparisons sake, Aaron Rodgers, considered one of the top, if not the top, QBs in the NFL, had 6 games of less than 215 yards and 3 games under 200 yards. He finished with 31 TD passes and only 8 INTs. He did not have a great year by his standards but this was his 8th season as starter. The team had a poor year but may have not made the playoffs without him. I think Tyrod had a similar impact on the Bills season. Time will tell if he can repeat or improve on what he did this season.
  5. I like when Taylor got in the middle of the fracas, grabbed Henderson and told him to go to the huddle.
  6. Other than the sack totals I've never been very impressed with Mario. He doesn't do much else. Too many times he's been handled by a single blocker and does nothing. Most of his sacks have tended to be against a weak OT who he takes advantage of and gets 2 or 3 sacks on. Too many times he is pushed beyond the pocket by the OT and doesn't even provide pressure. I recently looked up Bruce Smith's stats. He would get 100+ tackles a year along with his double digit sacks. Mario has 17 tackles this season. I know it's different eras, teams, systems, etc. but just pointing out that for the size of his contract, Mario is not a complete player.
  7. Having just watched Smokey and the Bandit, all I can say is "somb1tch!"
  8. He has to be fired by Cleveland first.
  9. Yay! I thought for sure we'd get one more game of Spiro and Wilcotts. I believe that's now 18 players on IR. Damn!
  10. The Eagles coverage on ESPN with Mort, Jaws and the gang about to increase.
  11. I agree. Whether it be draft, free agency, waivers (Hankerson)
  12. Yeah, they didn't bother waiting until Black Monday. Who's next?
  13. Yeah, since Wood is 29 and has played 7 seasons already, I think it's time to find his replacement. That goalline stand by Washington was pathetic with McCoy running up the middle. K.Williams was back and you had other bigger backs in Gillislee, Dixon and even Felton to use. McCoy isn't a power back.
  14. Is that as in old FART??!! Well, they had one in Fred Jackson but they cut him. Right now the oldest FARTs are Kyle Williams and Incognito, both are 32.
  15. Not only that, but a loss could inch Rex closer to the door.
  16. So was Jamarcus Russell. Jones did not play well this season resulting in his benching. He should stay in school at least another year.
  17. And they showed what they can really do vs New England. Why they don't do it every game is incomprehensible.
  18. Well the new CBA limited the number of practices and the number in pads. Because Ryan was a new coach of the Bills, he got another week's worth of offseason practices. Still he wasted two by deciding it was better to do some team building (that worked so well) and take the team bowling one day and to the movies on another. It makes one wonder how effective were the practices they actually did have. The use of the 2 practice fields simultaneously seemed like a great idea but while the offense was better right from the start of the season, the defense regressed. Sammy had complained about not getting targets.
  19. A UB grad, I think I may have to be satisfied with the MAC titles and getting to football bowl games and the NCAA basketball tourney. With the NCAA basketball tourney, any team has a chance to win so the Bulls would have a small chance whenever they make the tourney. For NCAA football, unless the Bulls move to maybe the Big Ten and upgrade their program and/or the playoffs get expanded to maybe 16 teams, the odds of them ever winning the title are very, very slim.
  20. OK I'll ask it. How does a Canadian become an Alabama fan?
  21. Lynch in HOF? I don't know. six 1,000 yard seasons- OK, 71 career TDs- OK, 8,768 career yards- Eh! His numbers are just slightly below those of Earl Campbell, who's in the HOF, so I could go either way.
  22. Actually I'm glad to see that none of the defensive linemen were selected based on their past performances.
  23. It's been a long time but I don't know that I even remember these kind of issues in the 1 and 2 win seasons with the likes of Harvey Johnson, Hank Bullough & Kay Stephenson as coach. They just had bad players on those teams. Still, of all the ridiculous issues and assinine Rex excuses, the top one for me is that he didn't challenge some plays in the KC game because they didn't show the replay on the stadium screen.
