    The throwing of deep passes on 3rd and short instead of just going for the 1st down has been prevalent for this team for several years with different coaches, offensive coordinator s and quarterback s and I don't understand why.

    I know it was a different era but take a look at Kemp's stats in those years. His norm was like 7 TD passes, 20+ INTs, 40% completion s. He was a gritty game manager and the team's defense won those championships

    NFL and NBA drafts are more impactful, where many of the drafted players are expected to contribute immediately. The NHL draft, other than the 1st few picks of a particular draft (Eichel & McDavid), can be meaningless to the casual fan as most of the players are unknown and could spend years in the minors if they do make it to the NHL. Baseball is similar.

    Henderson has had "years" to prove himsel? He was just drafted in 2014 and he was sick for a part of last season. Unlike some of you on this board I don't think the Bills are ready to give up on O-Linemen drafted in the prior 2 drafts.

    Also, linebackers don't have many plays where they have to run 40 yards. It's more reading the play, reacting and tackling.

    Of course they will. A new D-Coordinator will come in who plays the base 4-3 and the cycle will continue.

    The Bills signed him? I watched a lot of Stanford games. I think he could be a good 3rd down receiver or receiving TE. Like the above review said, he always seemed to make big catches.

    I agree regarding WR. I think I'd rather take a chance that at least one of Hankerson, Little, Boykin and Salas works out than a lower round rookie.

    So is Whaley involved in coaching now? Let the guy get on the practice field at least before it's determined how he's going to be used. Now that we have Shaq, can we find a Kobe? There's actually a Kolby, Listenbee, a WR from TCU.

    I looked at it as him being stubborn and taking an attitude like Ricky Watters and Latrell Sprewell, neither of which played again.

    How about the trading of a 1st round pick for a guy (Rob Johnson) who had started only one game? That was a good one!

    Come on. Forget all of that! Rex will be wearing his Clemson helmet in the draft room and the pick will be either Shaq Lawson or Kevin Dodd. If they're both gone then maybe Mackensie Alexander.
