  1. Maybe Rex is hoping Jack Nicklaus will come see his grandson play and have him on the sideline.
  2. Yeah, the guy is losing it. He did just have his offense run the wishbone, even if it was a meaningless 4th preseason game.
  3. He started the last 5 regular season games and playoffs and was phenomenal. He ended up with 13 TDs, running, receiving & returns. Personally, I like to see more games on the resume. I would take Gurley first since he played 13 games and had 1100 rushing yards and 10 TDs. I've been burned too many times by hype so I would rank Elliot probably 3rd. Actually I think I would take Adrian Peterson over Elliot. Yes, both the Vikings and Cowboys lost their starting QBs and the Cowboys have a great offensive line but teams are likely to focus their defense on stopping the run and dare Dak Prescott to pass against them. AP has rarely had strong QB play and has still put up HOF numbers.
  4. Yeah, that trade didn't make much sense. They made it to get a Pro Bowl TE in Graham and then misused him. Of course, maybe he was overrated since the Saints plugged in Ben Watson and he did very well and now are using Fleener.
  5. Also they don't show the whole game to keep it to 2 hours but replay some of tbe games multiple times
  6. Thanks Astro for another great job with this year's camp!
  7. Every team needs a 'Beer'man!
  8. Why don't you stick to your own team's sites and stay off our forum.
  9. I guess reading comprehension is not one of my strengths.
  10. Thanks again, Astro. No mention again of Hankerson. Is he a goner?
  11. I read that the Hall of Fame is separate from the NFL and it was their lone responsibilty. How lame! They have one game a year and they screw it up?
  12. Disappointing to have to drop Kouandjio as a wasted 2nd round pick but you have to go with your best players. I wish they would do that with the QB position and at least try and find a better backup than EJ.
  13. I was surprised that the Bills had no interest at all in Foles. If Taylor misses time, we know EJ could be a nightmare and Cardale is too green.
  14. I agree. A new strategy may be kickoff placement. If there are 2 returners and the better one is lined up on one side, kick it to the other side. Of course, return teams could counter that by having both returners in the middle and then they split out after the ball's in the air. Keeping a 2nd kicker for kick offs was not an effective strategy last season as Gay had touch backs on just over half of his kickoffs which put him in the lower half of the league. Ironically, for the kickoffs returned the Bills led the league in lowest return average allowed.
  15. There was a similar play when he was with the Raiders.
  16. Didn't take the Ravens long to figure out he was bad.
  17. Roh Roy, rhis is great!
  18. Yep, #10 were the 70s Raiders who won one. Top 3 were Lombardi's Packers, 70s Steelers and 80s Niners. Living in Northern California I've grown to hate the Niners but their success over 2 decades should be #1 to me.
  19. I was just watching an NFL Network Top 10 show of Dynasties. The 90's Bills were #8!! I decided to record it, thinking that they might get an honorable mention so I was surprised with their ranking. Half of the commenters didn't think they deserved to be on the list since they didn't win a Super Bowl. They did dominate the AFC.
  20. That was so funny as you never expected a referee to say that. A more recent one: "we're going to be fully pregnant." - Rex Also the one I hated: "They didn't show the replay on the board." Rex's answer for why he didn't challenge a call in KC.
  21. I don't like him. He's a big mouth goofball. I'll never get past that as an NFL head coach with 6 years experience, he didn't have a replay system in place. Responding to questions why he didn't challenge a call in the KC game with "because they didn't show it on the screen" was ridiculous and embarrassing.
