Another indicator of the Bills lack of talent: NFL Network presented their top 100 players going into the 2011 season and there were no Buffalo Bills. Seeing who made up 96 thru 100 (Nick Collins, Shaun Phillips, D. McFadden, Chad Clifton & McNabb), if the list was continued past 100 I don't know when a Bill would be on it. Who would be considered the best Buffalo Bill right now? Stevie Johnson? Fred Jackson? Kyle Williams?

Exactly! That's why I didn't like the signing of Fitz at the time, with them saying they weren't looking for someone to compete with Edwards because they didn't want him looking over his shoulder. That was mediocrity thinking there.

When compared to a Jamarcus Russell who talked about retirement when he reported to the Raiders following signing his contract, this is a positive. I hope I'm wrong but I fear the 2nd year of Fitz could resemble the reduction in effectiveness for the 2nd year of Bledsoe, and the last chances for Losman and Edwards. Expectations that the player can't meet.

He'll even know everything about the 7th rounders and those players not drafted. He's only a couple years younger than me but I can't remember that much info anymore without notes. The guy's amazing in what he retains on all of these players.
