We need Tebow. It seems that since Teddy Bruschi retired we haven't had that one guy that we can all band together and root for.

If this team is gonna spend money on a FA, it damn well be a very good pass rusher of the edge. When Wanny took over the D, like it or not, this team became a 4-3. Edwards, Carrington, Heard, Troup, and Johnson are all DTs in a 4-3, as are Williams and Dareus. The Bills aint carryong 7 DTs. And, they only have one 4-3 end on their roster. They need pass rushers on both edges... period. Whether one is a LB and the other a DE doesn't matter. Kelsay will be at one end and between the draft and FA, the Bills are gonna need at least 2 more 4-3 DEs (these will be speed guys in the 260-270 lb. range) and at least 2 or 3 4-3 OLBs (we're talking 225 - 240 lbs.). So, even if the Bills stayed 3-4 with 7 DL @ >300 lbs, how Okoye being about 295 lbs. and only having played DT and NT would make any sense, it's beyond me.

Four-pronged formula - key positions
Dr. Trooth replied to San-O's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Should read less and observe more. The artice was from 2 years ago and they rated McKelvin the 21 rated cb and Jabari Gree #31. That ought to tell you something Also, what's a true LT? one that's only played that position and nothing else? Or an allpro/franchise type LT? And, how dow you splain Philly with 4 for 4? And, the last 4 SB winners were only 2 for 4. All minus the franchise LT and the lockdown corner. As far as the Bills needs... They need Defense, defense, and defense... in that order. The offense can put up 20 points a game avg. If your defense can't hold a team to under that, they suck. -
Garcon would be an excellent pickup. But, if Peyton is still the QB, I seriously doubt that with Wayne and Garcon both free agents they are going to let Garcon (more upside) go if they have to choose between the two. And, if you ask Gacon who he prefer catching passes from, Peyton or Fitz, we know the answer. But again... it all hinges on what goes down in regards to Peyton and a whole lot of decisions the Colts have to make... especially on defense and cap space.

Allow me to make this analogy. If you're in the market for a 2007 Rav4 and you see two that meet your design criteria, one will cost 12,500, the other 9,500, which will you choose. Some will take the lower amount. But, if you look into it, the one at 12,500 has less mileage and a clean Carfax report. The one for 9,500 has more mileage and has a Carfax report that shows a couple of accidents. The majority... or the sensible folk are going to eliminate the one with the bad carfax automatically. Buddy has stated that he likes the tools that Bell has. The problem is he is often injured. So, Buddy, what are your expectations of a starting LT? If you are looking for performance and dependability, then you must look past Bell.

Ain't in agreement on this one. If Ralph won't overpay for talent, why does he overpay for no talent? Bottom line, Buffalo and WNY are not the problem. Ralph is.

pass rush Monster Margus Hunt
Dr. Trooth replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, they all do, until they get pancaked by an NFL lineman and then blown up by an NFL fullback. Then they wonder wtf they're doing in an NFL training camp. The dude ain't even ranked in the top 50 DL and he's gonna go in the first two rounds? Reality check. More like I stated... undrafted free agent. -
Lost in the hubbub of today's presser…
Dr. Trooth replied to San Jose Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Dude. He did not say that. He said "I knew you guys were going to ask that so I looked at the stats of how much we played a four-man front this year and it was 47-percent of the time." -
Instability The Bills Biggest Nemesis !!
Dr. Trooth replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
quote]a mistake-prone owner, bad calls from refs, injuries, etc. it is not just one thing. Yeah, it really is one thing. All teams have injuries. All teams experience bad calls. Alas, all teams do not have "suckish" owners. If you want consistent "W's" wear black & gold. They're usually in the thick of things 70% of the time. -
Big name WR I strongly think we WILL sign
Dr. Trooth replied to Estelle Getty's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think we have a winner. -
The Bills are very consistent. I can say with 100% certainty that the Bills will not make the playoffs next season. I have 12 consecutive seasons of rock solid evidence on my side.

Anyone excited about the "Championship Game" tonight?
Dr. Trooth replied to Mr. WEO's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Apparently Budd isn't too excited. He ain't there. -
People will keep shuffling in and out of Buffalo as long as this organization is OWNED led by the current group RALPH.

I've got two words for you. 1) Leif 2) Larsen Perhaps we can bring him in for a look as an undrafted free agent. -
Buddy Nix press conference today @11am
Dr. Trooth replied to Buftex's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bidness as usual @ OBD. A lot of sizzle, but man, show me the steak. -
When will the spending start? If they ain't gotta do it til 2013, then that's when it will start.
-
That's "plural". What left tackles have the Bills developed. One that I know of, Peters. Bell? What has he developed into? I mean, he ain't even average. The beginning th believe Bills fans have bought into the "dare to be adequate" mentatlity that pervades OBD.

Anyone else thinking Whaleys calling the shots???
Dr. Trooth replied to Estro's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Dude. Ralph is calling the shots. And, his edict to the FO is bring em in, stack em high, pay em low and make sure there ain't no "A Listers". -
FJ and CJ: Utility or Futility?
Dr. Trooth replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm guessing, since CJ finally put his man pants on and produced the later part of the season, he's demonstrated that he can be trusted to some extent. I'm also gussing that his HC will figure out the best way to utilize the two together and probably come up with some unique schemes. -
You know what I hate about our offense.
Dr. Trooth replied to BillsNeedaQBin2012's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Spread? Schmead? Chuck n duck? Smash n dash? who cares? They put up around 340 pts. Haven't seen the Bills do that in some time... and that was sans 6 starters much of the last 8 games. If the defense had only shown up, we might be watching a playoff game this weekend. -
Jason Peters -- First Team All-Pro
Dr. Trooth replied to Kelly the Dog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How long did it take Philly to get what they paid for? Three years? -
What superstar QB have the Bills passed on in the past 5 years when their pick came up? Quinn, Flacco, Cutler, Ponder, Gabbert, Leinart? Hey, they can have a second chance with two of those guys if they want. And, hey, Vince Young and JaMarcus Russell are chomping at the bit for a second chance.

The new NFL is a passing league
Dr. Trooth replied to Picnic Table F'er's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How do you account for the 12-4 Ravens? Flacco and Fitz are about one QB rating point apart. If the Bills have the Steelers D, no one would even be posting about QB crap. -
Fans want RGIII. Bills draft RGIII @ #10. RGIII turns out to be a bust (like RJ,DB,JPL,TE). Fans lament how stupid the Bills were to draft RGIII in the first place. Meanwhile the Bills select #1 in 2014 and the fans want them to draft a QB or whatever flavor of the month is popular. Trust me, I can predict my Bills fans as well as I can predict what the Bills FO will do. Sometimes the two deserve each other.
