Stefon Diggs Trade Proposal (Hypothetical)
Saint Doug replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Would love to get a 2nd. He should’ve stepped up and took over that game. But he didn’t. I don’t want anymore disgruntled player castoffs from other teams anymore. Apparently they eventually lose their shine. -
Star players are supposed to step up in big games. None of them did. Diggs especially. Nowhere to be found. If he can’t fix his head, he needs to be removed, regardless of the cap implications. As for defense, I’m not sure I can say anyone on there is close to a star because none of them ever take over a game. Miller is the closest thing, but he’s either still injured or washed up.

Beane’s biggest mistakes have been his contract restructurings. He’s done it with Diggs and Miller and countless others. Now there’s no easy out from either one.

The Smoking Man is extremely powerful. Someone must die to reverse his wishes.

Falcons request interview with Joe Brady for HC job
Saint Doug replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is a classic Bill Belicheck move. He’s secretly taken the job already and just wants to F over the Bills one last time to strength his legacy over the division. -
Yep. I agree, unless there’s some bad blood we don’t know about. I think they have high respect for each other.

I’ll take Pittsburgh at home. Revenge is best served cold for when their 3rd stringers #### blocked us from the playoffs in 2004. Me still bitter over this? Nah….

Agreed. It was kind of odd to be comparing a rookie’s numbers to future Hall of Famers in their prime. That’s not even apples to oranges. More like apples to eggs.

Does Tua Tagovailoa have a "Big Game" problem? (great article)
Saint Doug replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
So, basically, this is going to come down to the 4th quarter of the final game of the season, maybe even final play, and despite the best efforts of McD, we’re actually going to win this. -
OT…Cooper Dejean has declared for the draft
Saint Doug replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
We don’t need an OT that plays in the defensive backfield. -
He has a significant shoulder injury, but I don’t want to say anything about this shoulder injury because I want to keep his shoulder injury a secret.

Cranyonz back in form.

Coaches will have to be looking closely at the match ups. Going into the playoffs healthy may trump the divisional crown.

How many times has a opposing QB won over the Bills, only to be benched later in the season? We have 2 Wilsons and Jones. Who else?

Spencer Brown flopping around like a 90 lb little B word. He was flopping so hard, even Flopping McFloppin Allen fell for it and had to go to his rescue.

Allen, Morse and McGovern break down the "Buffa-Shove"
Saint Doug replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
All this “tush push” talk is really strange to me. The Eagles didn’t invent this. An offense pushing the pile forward has been part of football as far back as I can remember. -
Did "The McDermott Problem" Backfire? Or Work to Perfection.
Saint Doug replied to theRalph's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t think it had any effect. Like always, the team placed themselves into a position where 1 freak play decided the game. Just like the PHI or DEN games. Luckily, this one went in our favor. -
My guess is this is just one side of the story and the truth is somewhere in the middle. If a player is truly injured and is not medically cleared, then I think the team has to disclose it and place him on IR. That didn’t happen. So, he must’ve been medically cleared. It may be the case of the team saying go out and play and Elam saying he can’t. I’m skeptical as well. He may very well have sustained an injury, but when it resolved is probably a point of contention between Elam and the team.
-
This still doesn’t make sense. If he has an injury that is severely limiting his ability to effective play or play at the level he is expected to, then you declare the injury and place him on IR. He comes back when he’s medically cleared and able to play. None of this double-speak by McD about playing the players who give them the best chance to win. None of the constant questions by reporters. What did they expect? We have a 1st rounder who showed much promise last year to then fall off a cliff his 2nd year and were only hearing about this now??

I swear, I’ve seen this game before.
