  1. I think Glenn is done in the long term for us.. he just can't stay healthy.. If he comes in and plays the rest of the season I think you still draft another OT and run Cordy to at least the trade deadline next year with some luck and hope he plays at a solid lvl then trade him for a ransom to a depserate team... OR If the team is gelling then you keep him but I would plan ahead for his departure... If our new OT is showing promise you can definitely get a 1st rd pick for a solid LT like Cordy from a team who is on the cusp. But depending on Cordy is hard ot do these last few seasons.. I just feel he will miss games when we need him most OTs are a premium but Cordy to me will miss games his the rest of his career, so if we can squeeze another season and 1/2 out of hiim it and actually have another OT ready to take over outside Dawkins then get a premium for him
  2. Get us a solid WR in FA or draft to go along side benjamin zay and clay I thik we will be fine if we solve the qb issue OC issues
  3. I liek the guy if we can get a QB to take PSI off our run game he will still burn it up, but we can;t pay him 10 mil a season
  4. we've tried the FA QB route one to many times for my taste.. Time to get our own QB and do it the way the rest of the league does it Plus Cousins will be grossly over paid in FA IMO
  5. I think the extra 1st rd pick was acquired with QB in mind in 2018 so I forsee the move upwards if possible
  6. Hope springs eternal Who knows if we keep Woods Watkins Dareus etc.. they might of poisoned the locker room into a a 6- 10 or 7-9 season which is still possible... But to strip this roster down and still be in the hunt in December is a tad bit surprising because to most of us, after the preseason fire sale at DB and WR, who would of thought we'd actually win 6 games SO in I'm going to be an optomist there it is
  7. Look at this way.. The fact Mc/Beane made all these personel decisions and we are still looking at apossible 8-8 record when so many here were predicting a 3 to 5 win season after pre season is kind of an accomplishment (toungue in cheek) Who's to say but if we kept Watkins Woods Lee Dareus and others that didn't fit the Mc/Beanes style or had a bad locker room persona maybe we would of hit that 3 win mark Things that make you go Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Not everything is black and white.. We have the McBeane duo here so the bottom line is you let this playout for more than 3 years and see where it goes... Yes its painful and yes its getting old, but we either ride this one out or keep resetting every 2 - 3years and spinning our wheels in the mud
  8. the common denominator to all our falicies.
  9. I don't think its time to lose out but its time to run with Peterman the rest of the season and give other bubble players a shot at proving themsleves. Peterman throws quick passes and timing routes but i see no evidence yet that he can survey a field make the proper hot read and go through progresions, while not making very ill advised throws but this is why you play him to see if he gets better..
  10. The only issue with Peterman is he is throwing to the quick read or the called play and not going through progressions Might be by design but I saw very little evidence that Peterman was actually surveying the field. I'm all for seeing Peterman the rest of the season hopefully we will see more of that
  11. on the positive side the Chiefs keep losing
  12. LMAO.. No it wouldn't have gotten any better. We still lack a QB
  13. You can design an Offense taylored to Tyrod, but teams will adjust to that quickly.. The fact is a QB's like TT who are limited in their ability to play from the pocket, and/or cannot hit timing routes with any consistency will always be an achilles heal no matter what. both Dennison and TT will be replaced next season imo, but if its only 1 then TT is the one going
  14. Got to let the Beane McDermott era play out for 5 years before tossing this regime under the bus Sorry if that frustrates people but we either commit to GM / HC combo and their build/rebuild plan or just spin our wheels for another couple of decades...
  15. Of course... as long as TT and the gang don't play dump off 1 - 3 yards short of the 1st down marker... But I do agree we're not going to win this one if we can't take it to them. Hopefully the OL will get a run game churning because my faith in TT to throw for 300 yds and 3 or more TD's is pretty low, and there in lies the rub.. Which is why we play the conservative style to begin with IMO. But again you are right that won't get us a win against the Patsies... BUT if TT comes unhinged early in an attempt to score 30 and the run game is not getting it done it will get ugly real fast IMO
  16. Trying to outgun Brady is not a recipe the present day Bill scan win, we have to keep Brady off the field and make D plays
  17. It wouldn't matter... Its the team around TT that has to step it up.. Our D and Our OL are the keys to any chance of winning. If our OL allows are run game to flourish we keep Brady off the field. If our DL get pressure and our secondary makes some plays then maybe we pull off the miracle But IMO tailoring a game plan around TT ain't the answer
  18. On paper I still can't fathom why the Sabres can't be at least a .500 team at this point.. How does one explain the Vegas Knights ???
  19. Reading some twitter quotes from Baker and appears to be a team player.. I like that he is pretty upset his OL didn't get the accolades he feels they deserve.. Not a me 1st player from my 1st impression.. Got to like that Other than that.. I couldn't tell you a damn thing about his ability or whether we should draft him Caption this image
  20. we've tried every scenario ever tried accept going drafting a franchise caliber QB over the last 2 decades. QB is the only answer..
  21. This is the buffalo bills a team capable of making a statement then laying 3 consecutive turds right afterwards we are not IN until we are IN
  22. I do love that feeling when the acid starts kicking in
  23. I'm not sure how stopping the Pats run game is our priority given that the Bills have continually been exposed playing aganst higher quality QB's. Brady will most likely shred us. I would like that to be different but I don't see the key to the Pats as stopping their run game
  24. if we beat NE this week hope rises and we dance if we play our normal NE game stick a fork in us, same old same old any way you slice it and dice it though at this point tanking is out of the question and doesn't help us much at all. A few draft spots in the middle is not worth pursuing a tank, and would do more damage to the team going into next year IMO
  25. I stopped watching all the NFL based talk shows a decade ago. No sports talk for me.. I find all those NFL today ESPN stuff annoying. I used to watch that stuff all day long. Since I have DVR i record the games wait till about 1 - 2 hours into the game and then fast forward thru all the fluff/half time and commercials. Basically I could care less about the NFL outside a Bills game. Personally I supported the protests by players fully so that has no bearing on me. Nothing outside of the Bills interests me in this league. The game is watered down and way too many rule changes that have turned the league into haves and have nots in regards to the QB position. Its unfortunate but I believe the league has passed its peak and will decline for some time. Prices are too expensive so there is a next generation coming through now that didn't get the same exposure as the previous generations. Lots of families and declining incomes can't afford to take in a game..
