  1. we have to stick with this pair for at least 5 years for better or worse. Can't keep thinking the next one can instantly make it better because you need stability
  2. I'm in the camp of.. if jerrry wants him gone then I want Goodell to stay. I don't trust Jerry's vision for the future of this sport, and i agree with coach tuesday's comment above.... Whatever Jerry wants won't bode well for smaller markets or the NFL as a whole IMO
  3. Yep stirring the pot to get the radicals all worked up. Basic playbook in our society today and a result of opinion based internet based blogs news and forums. Sad what we've devolved into
  4. We're all looking for a team that can bounce back after such a game.. It would just be more proof that things are changing for the bills and McDermott is our guy
  5. Yes we need to win AFC east games in December, But if we fail to bounce back from the Thursday night Jets embarrassment then Bills fans should lose it.. Good teams heading for the playoffs bounce back and make statements.. Especially at home As for wildcard talk... Playoffs are the goal.. One game at time, and hopefully witnessing a team that is continuing to grow and get better bound for the playoffs
  6. I feel we have a good HC but the team still has major breakdowns especially on the road an during primetime games. These are things we still have to learn to overcome Playoffs still look iffy this year.. how we grow moving forward under McDermott is what I am looking at, and our December is going to be rough so we better win a few in a row
  7. I don't think this is the same old Bills. I feel we are heading in the right direction and McDermott is going to be a long lasting HC for us. How we adjust and respond next week will tell us more of what we need to know Making the playoffs this year will be a helluva an accomplishment., but it is still going to be a tough order
  8. I still believe the team would be best served picking up a top QB, and I am ok with TT getting an extension. Worse case scenario future trade bait and awesome depth
  9. I fail to see how tossing a 3rd and 7th pick for a WR who at worse will command some defense shifts is a bad thing. Plus it could very well be a case of new address = renewed focus and drive for KB Damn my eyes hurt..
  10. yep me too, unless its a new baseball or basketball franchise but then those aren't really sports worthy of watching IMO
  11. I wouldn't spend a penny on the BN's after the years of crap I did read from Jerry and Bucky but that being said there are those who like crap and they should have access to all the crap they want via the articles. I now look at the link before clicking.. Easy peazy. After a few clicks you teach yourself to look before clicking
  12. hopeful.. why of course but in the end you still have to show up against playoff caliber Defenses. You have to find away to beat the better teams and to not lose to the teams you're expected to beat just the same. Its not all on TT because our WR core is inexperienced and our ground game is marginal....but if we are going to get to the playoffs and compete TT has to make it happen a little more consistently.
  13. if they leave the city that's when I stop being a fan of the bills and the NFL
  14. Obviously you haven't been following the Bills much
  15. It does get irritating swapping which side of the ball operates best. Another argument to stick with this head coach and gm for at least 5 years for better or worse. Can't keep chasing change, although I can forsee an OC change
  16. I believe we are an 8-8 team. Offense will remain inconsistent, defense will keep us in games. Pretty much status quo. I reserve the right to be wrong... but my gut says it will be ups and downs. hopefully a few more ups than what we are used to
  17. I'm happy but stil fear the usual collapse The bottom line is fans moan but we are the farthest thing from fair weather fans in the the entire league. There are some who do over do the negativity, and I agree right now is not the time to find fault. Lets just hope we keep it rolling because 2nd half of the season collapses are more common for this franchise, than momentum gaining playoff runs
  18. I love the wny area. I moved away for work in the 90s.when jobs were scarce and I was.partying myself into a bad place because there was always a party going on. I would like to return someday. So.i never understood those who put the old gal down. I also agree Buffalo.is having a nice resurgence
  19. I think we finally found a coach who can coach.. That's the narrative I'm sticking with. We made plenty of plays.. how many times have we seen the questionable calls go to other side. Or even when we did catch a break it use to not matter because we could always snag defeat from the jaws of victory. I'm starting to billieve
  20. I believed TT was our best option this year. I like his poise, and he looks to be getting better. but he still makes some maddening throws. That being said still believe we should draft a top QB next year and groom him and Peterson behind TT going forward. I have to give the coaches a lot of credit. This team as a whole is playing at Billeivable levels
  21. LMAO People are sop blinded by faux patriotism...
  22. I can see the point . Hard to move forward when the past is front and center
  23. I still see an 7-9 8-8 team.. If we pull off 2 on the road here then I will revise but this team is the typical Bills middle of the road team we've seen IMO But again I need a few more games to make a final call
