I have been going thru a tough divorce. No contact with her in over 8 months. It feels like a death. I've gone thru all the stages of grieving a death. The only thing that has helped me is praying to God and getting more active in my church. It's getting better with each passing day but nothing dulls the pain. God has helped me endure the pain better. Edit- Sorry I got distracted and didn't finish my thoughts to tie it in to the original poster. When feeling melancholy or blue about your Mom, pray to our Heavenly Father for comfort with your grief. He will provide in some way comfort that you are seeking.

Just to throw my $0.05 into this conversation. (Inflation) When I retired from Software Engineering I went thru a period of depression because that was my identity for so long. It took me a few years to feel comfortable in my new profession. Appraisal and Real Estate Investing. My Dad had a similar experience retiring from GM in Buffalo. I think it's normal. I'm sure Football players go thru the same thing.

I'm with you on this one, my more complicated the proposed cover up, the less likely it is correct or could happen. People are incompetent but more importantly , pople like to brag when things go correctly. That's where they fall apart if you ask me.
