  1. I think that people are counting just a little too much on Milano making a return to full form. He's getting up there in years and a broken leg is no small thing to recover from He'll be a decent player this year, but I don't think he'll ever be quite the same as before. Instincts will still be top-notch, but speed and closing ability will be off Still a plus player, but not a GREAT player
  2. Good god, I can't imagine having to cheer for a stiff like Cousins, no matter how good his statistics say he is. It was bad enough trying to root on Bledsoe for 3 years - every game was like throwing up in my mouth just a little bit
  3. I don't read into the RB competitions too much. The strategy seems to be to draft a new one in the middle rounds every year or two so that we have someone decent to take the bulk of the carries when the older guy is ready for a second contract. Each one brings a little something different to the table, which is healthy. But as long as we never pay these guys Saquon Barkley money (unless they're a hell of a receiver), then I'm good with this approach
  4. That's funny - like he wouldn't have taken the money from whatever company ponied up for it after the Rich's contract expired
  5. Let us vow to never ever again trade a future 1st round pick just to move up and draft a WR
  6. I’ve never enjoyed watching a QB play as much as I enjoy watching Josh Allen. It’s electrifying every single drop back when I’m inevitably yelling “Rip it!” And then he does - and it’s like “holy dog balls”
  7. It’s like most other situations. Give this guy a top 10 QB and he’s a genius. If not, then he’s trash. Even a guy that’s been there for 17 years and never had a losing season
  8. I like Terrel Bernard to get the C
  9. Four home games, trip to Seattle, and I arranged a bus trip for 40+ of us to travel from Harrisburg to Batimore
  10. Nick O'Leary Did you know that he's Jack Nicklaus' grandson??? For the old timers like me, that was like hearing about Darby the Dinosaur every freaking week..
  11. Let's wait and see if he even makes the team first..
  12. I don't understand it - you have a sweet and simple purple color and then you choose to de-emphasize it
  13. Where's Robert Foster and Duke Williams on this list?
  14. Wow, some no-name turdburglar of a hockey coach has to pull out a 30 year old take just to fiddlyfart his way through a press conference
  15. Detroit for Thanksgiving Day in 2022 was a super fun time. Our fans took over the bars the night before, then we had an awesome private tailgate 2 blocks from the stadium the morning of the day. 50 degrees outside, and we stood out on the sidewalk shouting and waving at the Detroit fans "Welcome to Buffalo!"
  16. To see the Bills play all 31 other teams in person First game I attended was in 1991, I've got 6 left and crossing 1 off the list this year with a trip to Seattle
  17. They aren't going to be able to win a lot of games 41-40 McDaniel and the GM don't get fired this year, but after 2025 when they go 6-11, they're cooked.
  18. I don't think that there's much noticeable change at all. McDermott is still going to be the primary architect of our schemes and defensive playbook The one thing that I'm hoping to see is more speed and play-making ability with the infusion of younger players
  19. I would offer that Buffalo is even LESS optimal to host the draft then they are a Super Bowl. Based on the number of attendees just in Detroit this year - that's way more people than would be in town for the Super Bowl, so where are they all going to stay?
  20. I just watched a game from early in the ‘88 season when they called these two out of retirement. A bunch of the regular announcers were covering the Olympics in Seoul and NBC had a patchwork lineup for several weeks
  21. Just got my two tickets for Seattle! Not bad for $$ either (less than $300 each)
  22. Shaw - I’ve been thinking about this a lot too - and you said it way more profoundly than I could have But paying big $$ for a veteran wide receiver seems to becoming more and more inefficient from a team building perspective. I like that the Bills seem to be a little ahead of the curve Just wish they had drafted another young guy this year - but that’s a different discussion
  23. Our group in Harrisburg PA will be taking the trip down to Baltimore. I'm trying to make a group purchase of 40-50 tickets plus a bus Will be a healthy chunk of change on the old Visa with that and the 3-4 home games that I usually get to
