  1. #9, #41, 2015 1st Rounder, S.Johnson to Houston to take J. Clowney. This would be a deal if Clowney is a once in a generation type pass rusher.
  2. X.Sua Filo-OG K.Van Noy-LB J.Landry-WR A.Seferian Jenkins-TE M.Roberson-DB S.Tuitt-DE
  3. 1. Clowney 2. G.Robinson 3. Mack 4. S.Tuitt 5. T. Lewan 6. J.Gilbert 7. A.McCarron 8. Kareem Martin 9. T.Bridgewater 10. D.Carr 11. R.Hageman 12. A.Donald 13. C.Mosley 14. J.Matthews 15. Bortles 16. D.Buchanan 17. J.Verrett 18. R.Shazier 19. M.Evans 20. B.Roby 21. Antonio Richardson 22. Z.Martin 23. X. Sua Filo 24. T.Jernigan 25. D.Dennard
  4. Has to be Kyle Williams in the 5th round. Others like Steve Johnson (7th rd), Sammy Morris, Terrence McGee, Levitre, Byrd, Wood, A.Williams, Dareus, Glenn, Gilmore and Kiko were all good ones. Really hope EJ ends up being the best, 5 years from now when we look back though.
  5. Schwartz loves pass rushers and Hughes can rush the passer. He'll fit great.
  6. The Bills should do it if they think Clowney is a once in a generation kind of DE/pass rusher and can get a great deal done to move up. If Clowney is the real deal, the Bills would have the best pass rush in the league now. Imagine a front four of Clowney, K.Williams, Dareus and M.Williams. Wow...
  7. He's an elite athlete with potential at QB and other positions. Depending on the cost, no question he could be very interesting to develop.
  8. Aaron Williams can make plays and he's a few years younger than Byrd. Byrd has had injury issues, especially recently. Williams can make the move to FS and either Duke Williams, Searcy or Meeks will step into the SS role. They should bring in someone else via the draft to compete too.
  9. Would be a great addition as a 5th to 7th rounder.
  10. Only can do something crazy like that if it would be a definite upgrade. None of the QBs in this draft are definite upgrades now or in potential.
  11. If guys like Clowney, Robinson, Matthews or Watkins are gone could they look at someone like Stephon Tuitt, DE from Notre Dame? He has huge upside and can play that strongside defensive end in the base defense and then maybe provide a pass rush on the interior during passing downs.
  12. Thank goodness Tim Graham can't make any personnel decisions for any team in the NFL, especially the Bills. When EJ was on the field, he gave the Bills a chance to win. He struggled when his offensive line couldn't win battles. I think Buddy Nix said a QB should be drafted or picked up every year in any case and I agree with that. Picking up a young project in rounds 5-7 or as an UDFA is fine. With that said, EJ deserves a minimum 20 starts before anyone passes judgement on him.
  13. Earl Thomas is the best safety in football and a rare talent. Hard to compare him to Byrd. Either way, the Bills need to get Byrd re-signed to a long term deal.
  14. Mack could play the LB position next to Kiko and probably be a player like Bart Scott used to be for the Jets. He probably wouldn't like this because its hard to get drafted in the top 50 for this position. If they could get him in round 3, good deal and most likely great fit.
  15. EJ needs to grow with his receivers this offseason and be more accurate. Being #1 all offseason and healthy is a start. The offensive line needs to be upgraded. Look at the 49ers, a lot Kaepernicks faults are covered up because they have a huge, athletic offensive line. To me, they have two linemen who we know can play now. Lots of work to do here for the offense to be what Hackett and Marrone want. The Bills need more athleticism at TE. Maybe the answer is Gragg, maybe Ebron, Amaro, Grimble or Seferian Jenkins in the draft. A third back is needed. The draft should provide this in rounds 3-5. Maybe a guy like James Wilder Jr or Terrance West from Towson. If Stevie doesn't want to be the playmaker on 3rd downs, which involves making tough catches over the middle, then they need to move him and find someone who can do it consistently. A Marques Colston type is needed.
  16. Could be an interesting prospect but I think he's from Eastern Illinois. Pretty sure he's participating in the Shrine game so it's a chance to show he can play against NFL type talent.
  17. Legursky and Pears aren't good enough at their positions for the Bills to execute the offense they want each week. Pears looked bad in pass protection particularly toward the end of the season. Urbick is an average RG but was dominated by both the Jets and Bucs interior defensive lines. He could be upgraded. Wood and Glenn are good at their positions, not great. Glenn could be the best LG in the league if both the Bills and him decided to go in that direction. There should be options in rounds 2-5 to get a couple of solid linemen to either immediately compete or develop long term. Jake Matthews would be a great pick at 9 because he could play both tackle positions or LG immediately at a high level. Xavier Sua-Filo could be a great pick in round 2 to start right away at LG. There could be some free agents available too.
  18. Zach Bauman-RB-Northern Arizona Nate Dreiling-LB-Pittsburgh State John Urschel-OG-Penn State Dakota Dozier-OL-Furman Pierre Desier-CB-Lindenwood Larry Webster-DE-Bloomsburg Ross Cockrell-CB-Duke
  19. Gabe Lynn-DB-Oklahoma.....could be a good project as DB and very good special teamer Jonathan Dowling-S-W.Kentucky Marcus Lucas-WR-Mizzou Casey Pachall-QB-TCU as an undrafted FA
  20. If Jake Matthews is there, he would be a solid pick. He'll be a solid, maybe pro-bowl linemen for a decade. He could compete at LG, LT or RT immediately and long term play one of the tackle positions. Watching Sammy Watkins last night, it's tempting to want him. Hageman would be a good fit in the defense, versatile and might push Dareus after what he did late in the season. It will be interesting to see how Mike Evans works out. Jarvis Landry could be a good fit to take over for Stevie if they trade or release him, but want to see how big he is and works out. Also, watching Marcus Lucas (Mizzou) last night, he could be a late round pick that could be a big target over the middle like a M.Colston. Exactly what EJ needs. We've got to give EJ 20+ starts before we say he's the guy or not. He should improve a lot over the next year or two.
  21. Mike Evans is an interesting prospect. He's probably not ever going to be a #1 WR on the outside but more like a Marques Colston guy who can run the slot and be almost like a TE. Getting separation is a big concern when he goes up against NFL caliber corners on the outside.
  22. 1. LG 2. RT 3. NT-Need a run stuffing, space eater 4. TE-more athleticism
  23. Glenn is a very good LT but he could be the best LG in the league. I'd say draft one of these top linemen coming out with one of the first two picks and let them compete. If Glenn works best at LG and the new draft pick is solid at LT, then make the switch. It would be a big boost to the run game. Pears has to be replaced. Let's not forget about Chris Hairston and this should be a deep tackle class coming out for a later pick to come in and compete.
  24. Evans is interesting but might have some trouble getting separation in the NFL. A guy like Seferian Jenkins at TE out of Washington could be the go up and get it guy in the red zone and could be a force over the middle. Another guy is Brandon Coleman out of Rutgers, who just declared. He's a big guy who can go up and get it. Could be there in the middle rounds with some big upside.
