  1. based on what we've seen so far, he might catch 100 by week 12
  2. Love it. We've been out of Pennekamp a few times, we would rent a house for a week in the keys every year, alternating between Marathon and Islamorada, but haven't been back since the hurricane.
  3. Only problem I find is that 7PM is the 4am of day drinking
  4. Part of me thinks that when (if) the Bills ever get good, you want it to be with them beating the Pats and Brady. The other part of me thinks, I've been watching this Whiny D Bag of a hall of fame QB roll the AFC East since I was 20. I'm almost 40, time for him to go.
  5. Refs? Check. Opposing Team? Check. No Red Jerseys? Check. Paid Admission? Check. Keeping Score? Check. i'm thinking its a game.
  6. Hey Brandon, Can you help me with this Salary Cap thing?
  7. So for context, He was talking with Taylor Lewan and it came up, would you chop it off to win a Super Bowl? Vrabel said, "I've been married 20 years already so probably, yea". Married guys can relate.
  8. Guess this falls under the your mileage may vary idiom. The consultants i have worked with have provided little value to the end game. I'm sure there are highly specialized consultants that do a great job in their silos, but the output consultants have presented to me have been little more than typical boiler plate stuff with a few tailored details that make general business school assumptions.
  9. Consultants are BS. They peanut butter spread basic concepts across multiple industries without taking the time to get into the weeds to learn the nuances of what actually transpires in different market niches. I would say the consultant analogy is a bad one though. This would be more like the retired VP of sales of your company coming back to talk about his experience working the same industry you're presently in, servicing the same accounts etc..
  10. Gaines played well when he was on the field, hard not to like the move.
  11. I wonder if they plan on working hard and being good teammates? Looking for confirmation that the culture in the building influenced their decision. Also curious if Buffalo is indeed a blue collar town. Guess i'll have to wait to find out.
  12. If they can put Brady on his 41 year old back pretty hard a few times we all win
  13. So the Attorney General is saying her office doesn't have enough to do and is going to dabble in politics too.
  14. I just like that we have a poker player now. At the combine the Bills were talking about how traditional #1 wide receivers may not be the way the NFL is moving and then they kick the tires on AB
  15. Fun fact.... in 2016, his last with the Bills, Stephon Gilmore was flagged for (4) defensive holding calls in the 2 games vs. the Patriots. As a member of the Patriots in 2017, Gilmore had 1 such call all year.
  16. I'm really questioning their grasp on the offensive side: Draft Rookie QB - Give said Rookie QB a QB coach who had neither played QB nor has ever been a QB coach in the NFL - Give Rookie QB no veteran voice in the room as a mentor nor have a player on the roster to truly play the caretaker role for a year - by his 3rd start, Allen had accumulated the most NFL QB playing experience on the Roster Identify Kelvin Benjamin as someone to build around by giving up a 3rd round pick to acquire him Watch Benjamin struggle with drops, lack of intensity and mental lapses making resigning him a laughable Take NFL leading run game, change blocking schemes, change O-line Coach and build around aging RB's There's alot on the defensive side of the ball that says they can identify those players, but the O side looks very concerning
  17. I wonder on what page of THE PROCESS handbook Derek Anderson appears on?
  18. Heard a funny comment (think it was on the radio).... Peterman must have photos of McDermott not trusting the process
  19. To make matters worse, Peterman is throwing that ball from the far hash.... just a disaster all the way around.
  20. Jake Locker is the comparison I was thinking in my head......I hope my head is wrong.
  21. If Allen wasn't meant to start this year, how can you insulate him with Nathan Peterman? He of 5 first half INT last season? I know McBean loves Petermans intelligence and work ethic, but if you're going to keep the raw rookie QB on the bench, I would have an experienced QB taking the snaps while also trickling down some vet knowledge to the kid. Instead, Josh Allen is now the guy in the QB room with the most NFL starting QB experience (including the coaches).
  22. My concern is that there is no vet presence in the room. Not saying a vet to challenge to start but a vet who has been in the league to impart knowledge on the youngsters. Daboll and coaches can dissect tape and coach them up, but there is value in having someone around who has seen it from the pocket or been through some seasons in the league at the position.
  23. Good news - Schmidt has been decent pinning inside the 20 but doesn't seem to have a very big leg.
