  1. He's moved ahead of Mike Williams on the depth chart
  2. The issue with the win isn't about being embarrassed or whatever you want to say about it. Its the continued recurrence of the same issues game after game. Playcalling and oline play will keep this team from accomplishing anything on a larger scale. Its a good win for the season standings and playoff hopes, but this one didn't really pass the eye test.
  3. I don't think i've seen Mike Williams get an offensive snap. That's nice.
  4. Analytics Department: Doug, our statistics show that the current offensive scheme has meant the regression in all of your offensive skill position players Marrone: NEERRRDDDDSSS!!!
  5. A lot of those runs were out of the spread. The linemen in this scheme can't get to the second level because with Hackett going two tight end, fullback, or bunch formations, it brings a lot of defenders into the box. The Bills also seem to be doing a lot of zone blocking as well.
  6. I have a feeling Marrone is willing to look at anything and everything as long as its the same things he has already been doing.
  7. What lab in hell did the Bills make Torrell Troup in then? Good thing they were able to nab him one pick ahead of Gronk.
  8. Hammering a square peg into a round hole, all day, every day. They have an offense, and they are going to run it, regardless of the personnel. The best part, how many times have the Bills gone 3 and out on the first drive. Allegedly the first 15 plays of the game are scripted. Well those scripted plays result in 3 and out, 3 and out.... constantly.
  9. Marrone & Co. inherited a team and offensive line that had Spiller averaging 6.0 yds/carry. It has done nothing but regress.
  10. For what its worth, Warren Sapp on NFL gameday said Kyle Williams is active today
  11. If the Bills win, the experts take will be the Patriots really are going in the toilet and last week was an aberration possible by a serious of fortunate and unsustainable events in the Bengals game.
  12. I just don't understand why Urbik is so in the doghouse. In 2013, Pro Football Focus had him ranked as a top 20 guard. From Rotoworld "Urbik is scheduled to count $3.375 million against the cap. He graded out as a top-20 guard at PFF in 2013, receiving positive marks both in the run and pass games"
  13. Oh its definitely coming to Buffalo, and the older i get, the less I want to sit in the cold which is fine by me. The new stadium does need to be a mixed use, year round facility too.
  14. Jerry Sullivan ‏@TBNSully 23h23 hours ago I can't wait to see how the Bills' guards grade out this week. And is it time to wonder if Eric Wood is a tad overrated? Expand Eric Wood ‏@EWood70 17m17 minutes ago @TBNSully you can tag me in these posts. You follow me, I know you know my Twitter handle For those unfamiliar with Twitter: You can tag someones name in your tweet, which will send the person you are talking about a notification that you said something to them or about them. This is the twitter version of Wood telling Sullivan to say it to his face. I thought it was pretty funny anyway. Sullivan is a weasel.
  15. Watch how the Chiefs use Jamaal Charles, and then yearn for it.
  16. I just don't believe in the jumbo formations Hackett constantly uses in the running game. That's a lot of bodies near the LOS to maneuver around - D-linemen, linebackers, safeties and our own offensive personnell. Hackett just doesn't seem to believe in running out of the spread.
  17. Watching Revis on AJ Green last night, it seems like he gets away with a lot of interference. He Routinely cuts off routes with his body, which may or may not be questionable, but he basically arm barred Green on every route he tried to go over the top on. He would run side by side with Green but would just hold his arm out there like a toll barrier.
  18. Mike Rodak ‏@mikerodak 23m23 minutes ago Nigel Bradham also not practicing. Working with trainers in field house. Wearing brace on left knee. Mike Rodak ‏@mikerodak 25m25 minutes ago Kyle Williams not practicing today. Waking to weight room right now.
  19. I would have to think that any senior advisors he brings in will be able to quickly identify some of the major flaws with an outsiders perspective. There are a few people in the organization who are obviously in over their heads (cough Hackett).
