  1. Speed is the new Stealth. You can't hit what you can't see...... and you can't hit what you can't catch.
  2. If you slow down the replay, you can see him reaching for a flare gun tucked in his socks.
  3. Rodriguez sounds like Dorin Dickerson V 2.0
  4. In the past, with a record like 3-6, there has been very little reason to watch. Not this year.
  5. Hopefully EJ's deep ball gets a bit more accurate. The go routes that have been open the last few weeks.
  6. Has he? Don't misunderstand me, he certainly has a better skill-set and seems to be a smart guy capable of his reads. I just wouldn't say he has blown the other two out of the water.
  7. The bar has also been raised for Manuel now too. Tuel and Lewis both showed the offense can move the ball and put up some points pretty much no matter who is under center. Manuel needs to show he is clearly better than these two now.
  8. The one nice thing this year, is that if the Bills are not at the top of the draft, its not that big of a deal because the holes they have (which are a lot fewer than I can remember going into any recent draft) can easily be addressed... namely a Guard.
  9. Hopefully he gets some braces on those knees. Its not like he is a scrambling QB, so brace them up. Braces don't seem to hurt FJ and they never hurt Thurman in his career.
  10. Further: #Bills EJ Manuel says knee feels good.. he's been cleared for everything. Will practice full this week. Status go Sunday up to coach
  11. Even if a sneak gets stuffed.... you lose no yardage. Some of those running plays at the goal line are losing a yard a pop. I absolutely HATE the bring in 3 TE's and try to blow them off the ball. Guess what, KC brings in 3 equally large guys to blow it up. So now, not only does the RB need to beat the Dline, they can also get stuffed by running into the back of their own guys.
  12. Doesn't look like he has the arm strength to play in the NFL.
  13. HAHA.... Hey it was a gift! I guess if i'm jumping into this hobby I need to get a Stein or something though.
  14. Honestly, a Wild Card is very realistically within reach.
  15. I didn't have a hydrometer when I made this batch. Based on the recipe it should have been around 3.7% ABV. I do have a hydrometer now, based on the initial reading in the Boston Lager i've got fermenting, it should be around 4.9% ABV
  16. Cracked open the first bottle of Bohemian Lager last night, surprisingly drinkable. Much better than I was anticipating for the first batch i've ever made.
  17. Not sure if you are local in the Buffalo Area, but I went to Niagara Traditions Homebrew on Sheridan Dr. http://www.nthomebrew.com/ - although if not local they still sell everything online. I just went in with a very small amount of knowledge I had from the Mr. Beer experience and talked to the guys there. They have kits they sell through there for around $100 which gives you everything you need to get started. Other than the kit, you need about a 2 gallon spaghetti pot to cook the malt and hops in.
  18. I received as a Christmas present last year one of those Mr. Beer kits. I put it away in a closet and forgot I had it. About a Month ago I remembered I had it so I fired it up. It came with two cans of Malt Extract, So I gave it a shot. The first one was a "Bohemian Lager" which sat in the little fermenter for 2 weeks, and has been in the bottles for 2 weeks. After that, the second one was a "Mexican Cervesa" which just went into the bottles. I haven't tried any of the Bohemian yet, and i'm not optimistic it's going to be any good, but who knows. It looks like the Mr. Beer kit is basically a gateway kit into the hobby though. Since then, i've upgraded to a 5 gallon fermenter, a glass carboy, a bottling container, and a slew of the tools of the trade. I've got 5 gallons of a Boston Lager going now, and the possibilities for crafting your own beers with this setup is much more enticing. Learning about bittering hops, finishing hops, and the combinations you can go with, the different sugars, it looks like it can be fairly addicting. Anyone else here into doing homebrewing?
  19. I hope its not serious, he had some nice grabs in the game. He looked like a football player, not a track guy posing as one.
  20. So is he officially injury prone? He almost always answers the bell, but it's almost always in a compromised health status. I credit him for gutting things out, but you need a #1 who can go more than 2 quarters without going off the field limping or holding something.
  21. High winds tomorrow in the Buffalo area. I always love taking off in 50 MPH crosswinds.
  22. Make sure to have him hold your beer. Just watch he doesn't end up like this Browns fan.
