That doesn't surprise me...they say Buffalo is always stuck living a little behind the times. I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing either.

I DVR'd it and just watched it. It was a pretty fun watch. Nothing too deep but they tied it in with the movie by splicing in movie scenes and outtakes. Kariya and Selanne were always a blast to watch play hockey. I remember the original Mighty Ducks logo and gear being everywhere in the early days. They should have never rebranded to just the Ducks IMO. Seems like ESPN is making more of an effort to pump out some Hockey Docs now, I wonder if they would ever do one on No Goal.

Although now I am going a bit off topic...this reminded me of a story I was told that during the offseason/preseason when the Bills are in town sometimes they don't have anything to do during the day and some guys would just go hang out at the Big Tree and watch Price is Right and Wheel of Fortune lol

Will be interesting to see how this plays out. I have no interest in getting season tickets in the new stadium but was hoping to play the "game" with the ticket reps up to the point I could get a tour of the new stadium but there's no way I'm giving them any $$$ in advance

Yeah I've been disappointed so far, regardless of having to see Vegas hoist the Cup I was really looking forward to a competitive series

There's both good and bad that comes with that...it will be nice to weed out some of the table jumping jackasses but there's going to be alot of true fans who get priced out which is def going to kill the gameday atmosphere.

As a current Bills STH I'm gonna make sure to enjoy these next 3 years(fingers crossed we get a Home AFC Championship game) and then it's gonna be time to retire as a STH...I'm completely at peace with it and part of me is looking forward to it

I didn't know you were from Batavia Muppy...were you still living in the area when Planes, Trains, and Automobiles was filmed? I forget which pizzeria it was but one night the owner invited John Candy in after hours(and apparently a lot of beers from the story I was told lol) and he was back in the kitchen whipping up his own pizzas. One of those WNY Urban Legends but I have been in there once and they do have photo evidence hanging on the walls!

I don't have anything against them and was super happy for the team and fans that they just won the championship but I've never been able to get into the Bandits

Apparently there is going to be a Season 2 of this series....Sheesh how many secrets could possibly be left after everything they already talked about in Season 1?

I mean it's a real thing so I'm sure most Donut places are doing deals and specials like that but what I'm referring to is I can't picture people really embracing it as a Holiday in most other places but I feel like in Buffalo people take it seriously! Paula's was packed this morning with people lined up to bring in Donuts for their co-workers; I didn't listen but I saw that Shred and Ragan(local morning radio talkshow here in WNY) was having somebody on from Tops Markets to talk about Donut Day, I see people sharing posts on Facebook about it being Donut Day lol....It is definitely a "thing" here in Buffalo

Dude the Sopranos is one of the greatest shows of all-time!...and wings would def be a bigger priority if you lived in the Buffalo area lol I definitely don't embrace the "table-jumping Bills Mafia" aspect of being a Bills fan
