I'm not familiar with this one at all Muppy but glad you brought it up because that emphasizes another point....there are so many hidden gems in WNY! This area gets a bad rap for being a small town with not a lot to do but I feel like it's impossible to do everything you want to do in one Summer.

In my parents neighborhood a neighbor is having an end of the school year party tomorrow for the kids and we are taking my nephews. Growing up over there we always had some awesome block parties in the Summer. I know a lot of other neighborhoods around here do the same thing, not sure how common that is in other parts of the Country.

In honor of the first official day of Summer I wanted to start a thread to pay tribute to how awesome WNY Summers really are! I know most people posting over here no longer live in the area but the majority at least have roots in WNY. What are some of your favorite Summertime memories growing up in the Buffalo area? Favorite traditions and activities? We might only get 3 true months of Summer but from June to August those 3 months are usually nothing short of amazing....Backyard BBQ's and Bonfires, Outdoor concert series, Patio bars, Neighborhood parties, golfing, hiking, boating, grilling...Nobody does Summertime like the 716! Use this thread to post all things Buffalo Summers CHEERS! 🍻

I wonder if that Chiefs fan would post Good Luck messages on the Chiefs board right before his big heists?
-
Good Luck!

That's fair, I guess if there just isn't room for him it makes sense. Still sad to lose him from our program though.
-
Disappointing for sure. I don't understand why the Sabres couldn't have made him an offer to come up to their staff

I'm not gonna lie I had some fun with it going into the season last year because it was unchartered territory for me as a Bills fan as I was still pretty young during the Super Bowl years so it was kinda cool to pump your chest out a little bit as the Super Bowl favorite...but deep down inside I was terrified of the Bills flopping and that coming back to bite us so now I'm entering this season much more grounded and back to the we'll see what happens on the field state of mind. The energy level surrounding WNY during this time last year was incredible and just kept ramping up as the season got closer. It was fun to soak it in a bit.

You gotta win to keep the National Bandwagon on board While everybody was saying how amazing it was to be the media darlings for once last year I said yeah but if we don't pull it off watch how fast they all jump off the wagon

Eat Crow: Your most embarrassing Bills opinions

I'm not really embarrassed by this but one thing I've been way off on...I was extremely confident Ed Oliver was going to be a BEAST -

Yeah you are right about the big man spikes, I know that happens a lot still. For some reason I feel like you don't see WR's and Running Back's spiking the ball like they did in the 90s. Maybe I just don't notice it as much and this thread got me thinking about it, your initial comment made me start thinking maybe it was one of the many celebrations the NFL banned and I did a quick Google search and glanced at this article https://www.sportsrec.com/nfl-rules-spiking-ball-4794186.html which I misread. Getting old sucks everything just becomes a blur sometimes

Sneaky Joe..I'm sure he's a nice guy but man he can be tough to listen to sometimes with some of the ridiculous stuff that comes out of his mouth lol

For what it's worth this came up on Twitter and Janine Talley(Darryl's wife) said the whole Bickering Bills thing was blown way out of proportion by the media(SHOCKER) and behind the scenes the guys were just laughing at the whole thing

Will anyone admit to enjoying watching soap operas on TV?
BillsPride12 replied to Another Fan's topic in Off the Wall
Following all the Steff Diggs stuff...and then sprinkle in some of the Jack Eichel stuff....I just came to the realization following a pro Sports team is indeed following a Soap Opera! Soap Operas for dudes 😄 -
Help me understand the Ken Dorsey hate
BillsPride12 replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
I was no fan of Dorsey's playcalling last year and it felt like an immediate stepback from Daboll. I think the Hate is coming from people associating the Diggs drama with him having it out for Dorsey but I think the Diggs drama goes much deeper than having it out for Dorsey. Such an exciting offseason -
As if the Diggs drama wasn't enough today...it looks like Vegas is pretty much a lock to hoist Lord Stanley tonight. What a ROUGH day this turned out to be😞
