  1. Golf's just such an insanely hard sport and a very hard one to be consistent at. Josh is a very good golfer all things considered but I never expected him to have any realistic chance at winning this thing. Guys like Pavelski, Steph Curry, and Tony Romo are on another level with their golf game. I think Kyle Williams actually finished like 9th or somewhere in that ballpark in this tourney before.
  2. I have a neighbor a couple houses down from me that is getting ready to retire and move to Rome, Italy within the next year. His wife is from there originally, but he was saying the pace of life is so much slower and it's way more affordable to live there. He seems genuinely really happy and excited about this upcoming move.
  3. I had my core group of friends and was at least acquaintances with a decent amount of people from my senior class. If you asked me back then I probably would have been one of those people who were like it's gonna be awesome to party with everybody at the reuinions in 10, 20 years etc...Now that those times have come around I could care less about revisiting high school. Just feels like an awkward thing at best. Still being local to the area I still run into a decent amount of people as it is. The ones you want to shoot the s*** with you can and the ones you want to avoid it's pretty easy. The thought of a reunion feels pretty forced to me yet I can see the appeal to it for some people as well. Different strokes for different folks
  4. There's still alot of "Sellers" that own Bills season tickets. Even just in recent years teams like Philadelphia and Cincinnatti have had massive turnouts at our stadium
  5. Well said man! I couldn't have said that any better but that really articulates my feelings as I am continuing to grow older and become a bit more jaded in life. One of the best pleasures in life right now is being a Buffalo Bills and Josh Allen fan
  6. Yeah as much as I love the Bills I've always been kind of a straight shooter and see the team for what it is. Could never understand some of the Homers that would hype up some of those dreadful drought teams. The only era during the entire drought where I really believed in the Bills was during those Bledsoe/Moulds/Spikes years and even then it never came together like we all hoped
  7. Can you explain? Just curious. I always hear mixed things about The Villages experience. I know some people that love it and some people that hate it
  8. There were some years during the drought where I still watched/followed the team but I just knew they were a horrible team and had no actual faith in them accomplishing anything. I would call those seasons "going through the motions" years for me
  9. Let me preface this by saying that I am not close to the retirement age yet and I still have alot of work to do if I ever see retirement but I'm also at that age where parents, aunts and uncles, and friends are entering the retirement years and it's been fun watching them get to that stage and for the first time in my life it's something I am starting to think about in the back of my mind. I think about how if I wanted to remain in WNY I think my ideal place to live would be in one of those Condo's along the water at Niawanda Park. But as a golfer it would be cool retiring somewhere like North Carolina or Florida where you can pretty much play year round. The Villages in FL sound like the party spot for retirees. But I know this Country has alot to offer for retirement communities so would love to hear your opinions
  10. Carmal...unless you are having a Caramel Apple
  11. Loved his character in Reservoir Dogs
  12. This is a very rational take. We need more of them on this board
  13. Another honorable mention Josh Stamer
  14. I mean the 90s were over 25 years ago now lol
  15. Nice man. I love that area. On top of trying to make it to training camp every so often, there's alot of great golf courses out your way! And that's a great example of people I do feel bad for, if your close enough to walk over but couldn't get tickets from the lottery system or I saw some people online saying they were coming back into town during training camp and wanted to take in a practice but weren't able to get tickets. It is not ideal
  16. It's funny when I was putting my list together I was thinking of that play too but I was thinking about it from the perspective of it was Mark Pike who busted the wedge open allowing Christie to recover the onside kick. But regardless of that Christie is definitely worthy of being on the list as well
  17. Yeah on my original list I was pretty much split between McGee and Christie as my final pick. If you open it up to 5 spots it becomes a pretty easy discussion. I will say I wasn't sure if there was anybody else I was forgetting or players before my time I wasn't aware of so that's why I started the discussion.
