PLEASE, no more Toronto!
apuszczalowski replied to DallasBillsFan1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No, there will be thousands of excuses from the "greatest NFL fans" why they can't attend this game with most of them being that "the Bills are out of the playoff hunt", "have sucked for years", "Ralph is cheap and just trying to make money", "Too close to the Holidays", "More comfortable watching at home", etc Sorry, I was never given the memo that only Toronto/Canadian Bills fans were allowed to attend........... Unlike the Bills having the owner, or Russell Salvatore by up thousands of tickets and give them away to save the games from being blacked out multiple times a year? -
PLEASE, no more Toronto!
apuszczalowski replied to DallasBillsFan1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The only ones to blame for these games not being Home games for the Bills are the fans who would rather throw temper tantrums that a home game is being played in Toronto to help the team get more revenue to survive in the NFL instead of traveling the 1 hour down the QEW to Toronto and support your team. When was the last time this team won at RWS because of the "home field advantage" at RWS?The only way that game is going to be a home game with a crowd supporting the Bills is if Bills fans attend the damn games instead of just crying about them and the lack of crowd support -
Guaranteed penalty, sure, I won't argue that if it was intentional or not.Guaranteed TD, I won't agree with. As I said above, I could be in the endzone defending a guy and instead of playing the ball that I know I won't be able to defend, i can do something to interfere with the WR and only get a Pass Interference call that would not result in a TD. I'm still cheating by breaking a rule to make sure a TD is not scored. The refs definitly screwed up by not calling a penalty on the Steelers in this case, but it was no guarantee that it was a TD, and thats not giving the Steelers the Benefit of the Doubt
-
What he should have done was continued to run straight and not try to get out of the way. If he runs into Tomlin the play looks much worse and almost a gaurantee that the Refs have to call something if he is touched by the coach on the field before the Steelers defender touches him.
-
They can if its clear that the result of the play without the interference by the coach would have been a TD, although when you think about it, why couldn't a ref do this every time theres a Pass Interference call in the endzone? A player can do whatever to interfere with a player trying to catch a ball in the endzone and the refs never give them a TD because if it wasn't for the interference it would have been a TD.

6 feet wide, and he was standing on it, with part of his foot touching the green of the field, so he was less then 6' from where he should have been standing considering his toes can go up to the white of the sideline. 8' would have had him standing well onto the field of play and actually may have been a better spot cause the ravens player could have ran by him without going out of bounds and the steelers defender would have run into Tomlin because of the angle he was on. Seems to be alot of Pittsburgh Hatred on this one with talks of how the team should be punished by awarding them a TD that they never would have scored on the play, tossing Tomlin from the game, fining him, and suspending him.

The Atlanta Falcons week 13
apuszczalowski replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I read some where that Stevie was complaining about it publically, mentioned the fact that playing in a dome takes away the weather advantage they have in Buffalo. I can't remember the last time in the last 10-15 years that the weather was an advantage for the Bills and they won because of it. -
A bit of an exageration? The coach can be anywhere on the other side of the white line, he was less then a step over it onto the field
-
No way should he have been awarded the TD on that play, if the play was close enough that a slight move to the right was enough to slow him down that a steeler could catch up and tackle him, then he was not free and clear of scoring a TD. A penalty for him being on the field or for too many men would have been the right call with Tomlin getting some sort of fine also. I saw him a few times in the background on other plays and he was standing in the white or with parts of his feet/toes on the field, but it was behind his offence. I don't think it was intentional, He didn't run down the field and go out onto the field, or step out as the guy was coming towards him, he was standing there for a while watching the screen, but thats not to say he should be penalized or fined for it. I really think they should put up walls, or boards along the edge of the field of play like hockey boards, but padded like baseball fields. Keeps the coaches off the field, and makes it much easier to determine when someone is "Out of Bounds". I really hate watching these replays of some great catches along the sidelines that get called back cause a players toenail was on the white sideline during the play. The Steelers were paid back when they called off the touchdown twice in the last 2 minutes (felt bad for Bell that they called his back cause his helmet came while falling into the endzone and he wasn't in the second it came off), and then having the WR drop the one TD and the 2pt convert. End result was good for me, I needed either team to win by 3 or less Thats the one everyones refering to, and that one was visibly intentional

Why isn't anyone talking about Stevie?
apuszczalowski replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No one is talking about him because he does enough talking about Stevie for himself and the fans. -
According to the financial experts here who see how Ralph makes Millions on the team every season and only puts it back into his wallet and not the team, No it would not Of course The only reason Ralph makes any money with this team right now is because he has ZERO debt with the team and had a very small cost to purchase the team, unlike a new owner who would be spending close to, if not, a Billion dollars to purchase a franchise and will surely want a nice return on his investment

I agree with bringing King of The Hill back, I loved that one But as for the Simpsons, that show has been unwatchable for probably the last 5-10 years, I would rather watch reruns of this seasons Family Guy (which i agree, seems to have lost a step) then any of the last 5-10 years of the Simpsons. As for the graphic you show, you could do that with alot of shows by taking their first season or even the pilot episode and then looking at the characters after 5-10 years and find that they have all changed as the show went on.

I think this is part of a multi-episode story. I could swear I saw clips in the commercials for the episode that were not part of the episode last night and from what I can tell, Stewie rebuilds the time machine and goes back to before Brian dies. I remember seeing a clip where Stewie has to manually change the date using a broken looking time machine, and a part in Stewies room where he and Brian come out of the Time Machine and Stewies holding womans underwear and says to brian "I'm not going to ask"

Is Tom Brady in decline?
apuszczalowski replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lol, good one Brady played with a cast of nobodys that he made into champions, while Manning played with Pro Bowlers in a dome who carried him? When Brady was hurt for the season, his team with a backup QB who couldn't cut it anywhere else as a starter, continued rolling like he was still playing. When Manning was injured for a season, his team was bad enough to earn the #1 overall pick without a challenge. No one has ever had to question the Colts for cheating either Why can people just agree that they are both 2 of the greatest to play right now instead of always having to make one out to be not as good as they are portrayed? -
The Atlanta Falcons week 13
apuszczalowski replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Don't waste your time trying to explain it, Apparently Buffalo is a thriving market all on its own that doesn't need financial help to survive and its impossible for them to ever be relocated, cause either the league will step in and not allow it cause of the fans, or one of the many billionaires with Buffalo ties will swoop in and save them by buying the team and keeping them in Buffalo. That new owner will also keep them making money without raising ticket prices to league averages, and spending to the cap each year -
Well, that didn't take long
apuszczalowski replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in Off the Wall Archives
That took longer then I thought it would........... -

How About a spiderman vs the dark knight where they join forces against the Avengers to save Christmas with Superman? -
I have seen this around here, theres a company that is going around and they are basically leasing your roof space from you to install the panels. They put them in at no cost to you, hook them up and pay you a certain amount as a fee for leasing the roof space. They make money on the tax rebates and other incentives from the government for using solar, and they are affiliated with a university that can use this info to study the solar technology. Its not a bad deal and around here it does save you some money on hydro because the government is paying many times more then what you pay them for the hydro when they "buy back" the hydro you are producing.

Duct Inspection vs HVAC Service Call
apuszczalowski replied to plenzmd1's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Are you getting airflow through the ducts when its on? That will tell you if its an airflow issue or something else. Also how long has this been an issue? has the room always been cold or is it something your just noticing now? How long have you been in the house? The room above garages are notorious for always having cold floors, just because theres insulation, it doesn't mean its properly done and enough to keep things warm. The best way to insulate the ceiling in a garage below a room is to have it spray foamed. If your getting airflow through the vent but weak heat, it could be a bunch of things, weak system, disconnected or not properly sealed duct work, ducts may not be insulated properly if running in an exterior wall or in the floor of the room above the garage. Definitely call an HVAC guy to come check it out, doubt its just dirty duct work, but could be a clogged/dirty filter though, have you changed that? -

I was at the Bills/Saints game at the ralph a few years ago and there was a guy covered in saints gear sitting near us who was being treated alright aside from the occasional ribbing while Buffalo was winning. Once the score flipped and Buffalo was losing his treatment changed but that was mostly because the guy became a huge D-Bag to everyone around them

Do the Chiefs bring him back now that they are playoff bound?
