  1. No, it doesn't have to be approved by him, please show where in the NFL labour agreement it says that. The Bills could trade the rights to Byrd to a team for whatever they want. They could trade his rights for say a 7th rounder, and his new team would then hold his tender for this season. Its doubtful that a team would give up much to do this if they haven't already spoken to Byrd or his agent about some kind of deal though.
  2. Thats right, he can't sign a long term deal with the Bills until after this season. Holding out won't give him leverage now in trying to get a longterm deal done since they can't do one, thats what i was saying, but theres also no reason for him to show up until he absolutly has to before he loses money. He, like many others previously will sign the Tender at the last minute and show up to play just before they would start losing paychecks. As for a deal with any other team, the Bills and another team could come to an agreement to deal him for just a first, or a single pick in a different round, or multiple lower picks that would be less then what the Bills would get if a team were to make him an offer right now. if you were a team interested in Byrd, would you not call the Bills up right now and offer a 2nd, maybe a first to take him off their hands before you try and sign him and have to give up a 1st and a 3rd?
  3. Saw a few others, one has a stick guy with a stick woman bent over in front of him and it says below "makin' my Family" The other ones I like better have either a lifted truck or jeep running down stick families and says 'Nobody Cares about your Stick Family"
  4. I don't know if it has to be approved by him, I believe the bills may be able to trade the rights to Byrd to any team, basically allowing them compensation other then what would be given to them if the team signed him as a RFA. The problem now is that theres nothing that can be done from the Bills standpoint besides moving him or waiting for him to come back. And theres nothing more Byrd can do besides sit out to send a message or sign his tender and come in to play. The bills and Byrd can't sign any new contract now, its either he plays in Buffalo for the tender amount or sits out.
  5. Ocean Spray sells a line of Cranberry "Cocktails", plus a lot of juices are named "<insert fruit here> cocktail" when they are a mixture of additional juices to the main juice.............
  6. I have a feeling there are going to be MANY pissed off people with the finale, and that they are expecting something huge but are gonna get a Sopranos type of finish to the series. Its all going to end like a normal season, not with Dexter being caught or killed
  7. All of his shows are great to watch, just don't believe everything you hear or see and think he is some perfect builder
  8. Have you seen or heard about the guy they currently have in that job, Sharpton would be loved by all over Rob Ford
  9. We don't want to take your trash, It would have to be a fair trade We will give you permanent ownership of Justin Beiber and take Michigan off your hands. But if we take Michigan, their sports teams and team history belong to Canada. That should finally shut up all the ones whinning about howthe cup has to be won by Canadian teams...........
  10. Like Detroit and the Red Wings new $650 million Arena that was just approved?
  11. Living here in Niagara, I'm basing my views off of the Ontario Building Code Most of his shows are filmed around the Toronto area That sounds like a challenge..................
  12. I also grew up watching TLC every Saturday morning when they actually showed real How-To shows (Hometime, This Old House, and others), not home decorating contests that make every bored housewife think they can now become "Interior Designers" As for Holmes, he has gone on to his 3rd show now called "Holmes Makes it Right" (or something like that). I watch it, along with a few others (I prefer Brian Baumler of "Leave it to brian or Disaster DIY) and know people who have worked with and met Mike. He is a good guy and his ideas/premise is great, but as many have told me after working with him, "He is a TV host, they make sure he looks real good on TV". I have also watched Mikes shows and have found a few items that don't meet code that he has left and theres no mention of it. Its easy to "Do it right" when you have a TV budget to match what the owners pay (They both chip in 50-50 on the jobs). Mike has also said before too that he has it easier when he did the inspection show because he can break open walls and dig deeper then a typical home inspector because he is going to be fixing it after. On those shows they never get into details like if the owner ever had a permit to do the work, what kind of budget the gave the contractor to do the job. I have seen many jobs get out of hand because the owners don't have the money to do it right or want a bunch of changes during construction. One of the biggest issues I see in Construction today is that the average home owner doesn't care about the hidden components of building (studs/framing methods, insulation) and if those items cost more they will cut back there to make sure the stuff that everyone else will see (fixtures, countertops, flooring/finishes, etc.) are all top of the line.
  13. I didn't mean to offend you with the comment, it sounds like you may have actually found a few of the good employees that have some knowledge.Working in the construction industry, I see it many times were a home owner goes to places like Home Depot, talks to someone there and thinks that they now can do it all. I also run accross many home owners who think they are doing something right (or better then code) and they don't even come close to minimum code, even though the guy working at Home Depot said it was good.
  14. I find they are the same stores, different color If you go there and need to rely on the staf to show you how to do something yourself, turn around and walk out the doors and call a contractor to do it for you If you know what your doing and know what you need, just get it from which ever one has the cheaper prices, their employees should only be used to tell you where an item is located. Some may be knowledgable about items, but if they really knew what they were doing they would be working in the industry doing the work instead of getting minimum wage working at HD/Lowes trying to teach you how to do it. I know someone who has been kicked out of a HD for yelling at one of the employees he caught lying about a product they were selling and saying it meets the Building code (The guy being kicked out is a building inspector). You would be shocked to find out how many products some of these places sell that do not actually meet minimum codes or have approvals to be used here. Your fine using them if you decide you want to take a chance by not getting permits to do the work. i always find the "mom and pop" hardware stores are the most fun to go to, especially when they are ones that have been in business for decades, usually still have stuff from decades ago on their shelves. Its hit or miss on pricing, but sometimes they even have cheaper prices and they are usually much more helpful. For supplies (nails/screws/lumber) I like them, for finish materials (tiles/flooring/fixtures) the Big Box HD/Lowes always have bigger selections of stuff that are considered 'in' and won't make your eno job out of date before you finish
  15. Its not hard to explain why they have so many teams, the City of Detroit may have a dwindling population, but it has a larger surrounding population, including a very large Canadian City right accross the border. Detroit is also home to some businesses that are "too big to fail" in the US economy, and 3/4ths of their franchises are owned by another very large company (Little Cesars). They have what every team in sports needs to survive, large corporate bases to help support them and buy the luxury seating. Buffalo is home to how many large corporations? Geico and who else? Just look at the advertisements at the games. Saleens, Yancys Fancy and Celino and Barnes are the 3 next biggest that come to mind that are league wide sponsors
  16. Well they are still living the good life, that van did have "chrome alloy Wheels"
  17. Maybe its their way of trying to seperate themselves from Buffalo? Maybe they should try and copy MLBs Angels and go with such a cool name like the New York Bulls of Buffalo?
  18. I'm only refering to the previous movies and tv shows of Batman. The style that they filmed those wasn't as dark and was more "comicy?" like other superhero movies. Something that an entire family could watch and enjoy, now they all have to be "Dark" and Edgy and more for an adult audience
  19. I have found that now almost all superhero/comic book movies have to be "Dark and Edgy" At first they were more like comics, they were brighter, the characters were a bit more comical, but now everything has to be darker. The spiderman movies did this and have now made spiderman into this darker more "emo" type character. It seems like this is happening more to the Batman and Superman ones though, the Avengers seem to be les "Dark" in my opinion
  20. I don't know about anyone else, but all I got from the original post in here is that Buffalo Bill enjoys Chicago Tube Meat.............
  21. But aquaman sucks, he is comparible to scooter of the muppet babies......... Would they get Adrian Grenier to play Aquaman?
  22. Big question, Will he change the spelling of his name again? maybe this time go with Belle?
  23. I'm sick of hearing about Rivera and how its his last season and he's retiring, can't wait til its all over. If he wasn't a yankee the wouldn't be making such a huge deal about it everywhere
  24. I can either picture it ending with Dexter being killed by someone close to him like Debra, or him having to chose between killing Debra or getting caught
