i really wonder how well the Astros would do playing in AAA with their team. Atleast they have come right out and said that they are doing a complete gut/rebuild of their entire system, so they know they will be very bad and aren't cutting any corners or going to try and speed up the process and rush things. Unlike the marlins who are trying to convince the rest of the world that they aren't just doing their usual "Go all in for one season, then slash everything for the next 5+ seasons"

Completly shocked that there was almost no promotion of the final season starting, atleast up here. I didn't even know that the new season was starting until the wednesday before when my wife saw it on Facebook. never saw any commercials or mentions of it anywhere. I also thought that they could go that way with Vogl, making her end up being the "Brain Surgeon". It seems the killer is not doing it themselves and is using others to do the actual killing for them. She uses Dexter to take out her past work, and now could possibly use Deb to be the one to take out Dexter now that she is going to be "working with Deb" to treat her. The problem with this entire case is the stupid florida law that allows people to shoot/kill if they feel like their life is in danger. i would assume he is working on finding Jesus right now and having his lawyers work out a deal that would have him turn on his buddies to blame them for the entire thing while coming up with a way to get the fall guys off on "Self Defence". Then he can make a triumphant return to the NFL where he will become a role model for many and all will be forgiven/forgotten (swept under the rug).

There is Humberstone in Port Colborne, Merrittville Speedway seems the more popular/bigger races on Saturdays in the Summer in Thorold too, Then theres also one in Cayuga. Lots of race fans in Southern Ontario. Theres still a few smaller hurdles to get through, but its becoming much more likely that this is definitly going to happen now that the legal issues with the appeals to the OMB are over.

There is much more to this track then just an oval track race course, theres an additional road course and motocross parts IIRC from the last time I had seen the designs. Right now the only affiliation it has with nascar is that Jeff Gordon and his company are a part of it and its design. The hope is that once built it will get a Nascar race. Nascar fans always seem to travel well to races, and since I believe this would hold the only Nascar event in Canada, it will provide Canadian fans a chance to see races without having to cross the border. The location of the track will only be less then 5 minutes from the end of the Peace Bridge, and not long of a drive down the QEW from Niagara falls and their boarder crossing. Throw in the new Outlet Mall thats going to include a large Bass Pro about 25 minutes down teh QEW from the site in Niagara On The Lake, along with Niagara Falls being close by and this can make for alot more to do if your coming down then just seeing a car race
