Can it be Rick-Rolled? -
This is probably the only game I can say I would rather see the Pats win, well I would rather see the earth open up and swallow the entire stadium whole, but I will take the Pats winning a close second with alot of injuries to both teams to key players. My reasoning is that a Pats win will really mean nothing to them or their fans, its just another win early in the season against a team they should beat. A Jets win will be another win for a team that should be beyond horrible and lose, but instead puts them at the top of the division where their fans will be gloating about how amazing they are and how Geno Smith is the new king of the City Sorry, but a loss is a loss. They have had plenty of Moral victories and they have gotten the players and team no where. Theres always positives that can come from the game, but I don't care if they win cause the Pats sat out their first and 2nd stringers or if they beat them with a team filled of clones of Tom Brady. They lost a close game that the Pats were giving to them almost the entire game and were torched by 2 guys that were apparently hurt pretty bad. Hearing the player talk, it doesn't sound like they were too up beat or happy that they "almost beat the pats" on Sunday.

Jacksonville crowd shot mid-game
apuszczalowski replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Who says they are not committed to winning? they are in the first year of another new coaching staff and front office. Isn't their new GM that guy that was highly respected in Atlanta with Buffalo ties? Its year one of another extensive rebuild there, I would definitly expect this. I'm surprised that there wouldn't be more praising Khan and his team for not going after the marketing ploy of bringing in Tebow just to sell tickets and merchandise -
Yup, its gotta feel great to know that you came close to beating the Pats, and getting Torched by an injured Amendola and Vereen. Moral Victory!

A Fan falls to his death in San Francisco
apuszczalowski replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Yup And I have said it for years, the tailgate as we know it now will be gone soon with incidents like this happening more and more. It sucks for those who do it responsibly that they have to be penalised for those who are not responsible, but thats how life works. The responsible ones aren't winning lawsuits against the teams, league and stadiums, its the idiots who go to far that are and it costs everyone. Pretty soon they will crack down and eliminate tailgating on lots outside the stadium and allow only league/team sponsored tailgating where consumption can be monitored closely -
Hurry Up Offense at the End of a Game
apuszczalowski replied to Storm Front's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How is trying to give the Pats less time to have a chance to score "playing not to lose"?No one has ever said that they thought the Bills should not have been going for it and trying to score, the only thing being argued here is that they should have killed more clock so Brady would have less time to work with. An 8 point lead wasn't going to win the game either since the pats could still score a TD and go for 2 to tie the game -

apuszczalowski replied to Storm Front's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So your saying that the Bills offence can't do this while trying to also kill some time off the clock? Theres not one person here (no matter what side they are on in this) who is saying that the Bills shouldn't have been trying to score. But would letting the play clock wind down a little more have hurt the Bills chances of doing this? Would it have changed their offence that much? If anything, I would say getting back to the LOS with the Hurry-Up then taking as much time off the play clock may have helped confuse the Pats defence more and mess witht heir timing because they would have been expecting a quick snap, it would have kept the defence from substituting and made the Pats defence hold themselves in position longer. Also by taking a few extra seconds who knows what Manuel or someone else on the offence may have seen fromt eh Pats defence that could have changed something Again, no one really knows if it would have changed the outcome, but we know what did happen, Brady and the Pats had about 5 minutes to get themselves into position to score and take the lead, and give the Bills teh Ball back with no time left. -

Again, who knows how things would have gone if they played things differently. The only facts that we have are that running the 'Hurry Up' late in the 4th didn't help them, and they gave the ball back to NE with more time then they could have if they had slowed things down a little. With 30 seconds less time for Brady to work with, and a little bit of extra time for the Bills defence to catch their breath, who knows what may have changed. Maybe Brady can't run the clock down trying to set up the FG from the middle, who knows Its never a bad thing to give the other team less time to try and score then giving them more time -
[closed]Best fans in the NFL...
apuszczalowski replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, cause the Front Office had no idea the fans weren't happy with losing before............ its ok Promo, it will all be blamed on the size of the stadium, the economy, playing a bad opponent, the weather not being nice, better TV technology, etc. Then they will tell everyone how Buffalo Deserves and can support an NFL team......................As long as its a winning one (until they get sick of all the success/winning though like in the early 90's) -
Marrone - this loss is on you both
apuszczalowski replied to BreezeMafia's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Can't blame the defence at all today, they kept the team in the game all day while spending almost 2/3's of the game on the field If this was last year everyone would be ripping Chan and the coaching staff for this. marrone and Hackett deserve plenty of blame for this, along with the players on the field who didn't execute. Its been said around here hundreds of times over the years that the only way you beat Brady and the pats is by keeping Brady on the bench. This was something the Bills offence couldn't do and in the end it cost them the game. I'm not saying "Fire Marrone/Hackett" or scrap the offence and start over, but they will need to learn that they need to modify/adapt their schemes and the way they do things at times in order to join the Big boys and be successful. -
The schedule looks favorable after today
apuszczalowski replied to Breakdance's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can't say that any of those games look "favorable" The Pats were giving the Bills this game, and the Bills just kept handing them the game back and saying "no Thanks, you guys take the win" I'm not trying to be negative and say that they suck or theres no chance they win a game, but they didn't show me anything in this game that says they can be clear winners over anyone right now. The Panthers held a superbowl favorite to 12 points today. The Jets and Dolphins both beat teams that many of the "experts" had beating them today. The Ravens are the defending champs who played a close game for the first 2 quarters against what could be the best team in the league right now. The Bengals are also being looked at as one of the best teams in the AFC by many "experts" and lost a close game The Saints beat a team that was seconds from making the SB last year The Chiefs went through an overhaul this year and made a statement by pounding the Jags yesterday The Steelers are a tough team, they may be hurting now but they are always a very tough team to play against The Falcons were on the verge of the SB last year and lost to a team that you have listed as Winnable, yet the Falcons are a Probable Loss? The Bucs have improved, this is one that I would say is as close to "winnable" as you going to get aside from.... The Jags, can't say much, it should be a very winnable game for them and its possible the jags are one of the teams that could go winless this year There only 2 games that after yesterday i can say confidently are games where the Bilsl should be going in as the favorites. I think they did show they can hang with the majority of the teams on their schedule and have a chance to win, but pretty much all of those games can go either way and none are really favorable in the bills favor -
Hurry Up Offense at the End of a Game
apuszczalowski replied to Storm Front's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How are they wearing down their opponent when the opponents D was only on the field for a little over 20 minutes? Unless the plan is to wear down the opponents offence by letting them stay on the field most of the game. The only ones getting worn out was the Bills defence. The point is that there are times when you need to adjust to the game situation and change your plan, the offence needed to give the defence some extra time on the bench. Instead they did the absolute worst thing they could do, go 3 and out while giving the Pats offence more then enough time to get into FG range. If the plan is to wear down the other team for the end of the game, the Bills did a horrible job of it. no one is saying they should have gone to a huddle and changed the play calling, which even if they did, its not going to completly change what the offence can do, what people are saying is that they can stay no huddle and still wear the clock down a bit while keeping the opponents defence on the field and not letting them get substitutions. Its not like going from a "no Huddle/hurry up" to letting some time expire on the play clock before hiking is like changing to a completly different offence. -
Hurry Up Offense at the End of a Game
apuszczalowski replied to Storm Front's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yup, the point to all of this is that if you wear a little bit more time off the clock, even if you wind up going 3 and out, atleast the opponent isn't given even more time on the clock for a come back. Could having burned an extra 30+ seconds off the clock helped? Maybe, but its not like saving that time by running the "hurry-up" helped the Bills at all. -

I love this place, For years people here have eben screaming about how important time of possession is and how you can't win when the other teams offence is on the field way more then your own offence. Now TOP doesn't matter cause they want to play with an 'Up tempo/no huddle Offence' For almost his entire career, theres one thing that everyone around the NFL knows about the Pats and Brady, the best way to beat them is to keep Brady off the field. Now that doesn't matter, everyone thinks the key is to try and just outscore them. Even on TV the announcers were astonished that the Bills would continue to waste no time on offence and the last thing you want to do is give the Pats plenty of time with the ball again to score. The sole reaon they lost wasn't because of the 'Up Tempo/no huddle offence', but the decision to not try and take more time off the clock was a big part of the reason. Even if they had executed things perfectly and scored on that drive, with the time this offence was taking on the field it still would have given the Pats plenty of time to come down the field and score. The Pats had the ball on offence for 38 minutes in the game. The Pats were almost handing the game to the Bills on multiple occasions, but the Bills offence just seemed to want to give the game back to them. I'm not saying "Fire Marrone/Hackett" or "Dump the 'Up Tempo/No Huddle' Offence", but this coaching staff will need to learn to adjust during the game and not be so stubborn about what they are going to run all the time if they want to make the step up and play with the big boys. This game is all about adjustments, and its not like the offence was playing spectacular all day and were moving the ball at will against the Pats. Theres a time where its appropriate to slow things down and take some time off the clock, its what BB and the Pats did on that last drive to ensure they would put themselves in line for a chance to win the game and give the bills little to no time left when they get the ball back. -
TG & his twitter battles continue
apuszczalowski replied to The Poojer's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Not necessarily.Seahawks, 49ers, Redskins...... All 3 weren't "Bad" teams, and they all started rookie QBs last season Whats so wrong with what he said? its true, their record is 13-4 against rookie QBs, they will face another on Sunday so the stat is relevant. The response to that tweet seems unnecessary and more trolling then the original tweet -
Standing Room Areas at the Ralph
apuszczalowski replied to 5 Wide's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Probably that teh extra revenue on the advertisements they added in those spots was more then they were getting from Empty or discounted boxes that were there previously. Lots of stadums now have standing room areas where people can go to and have some drinks with friends during the game. Much easier to socialize and drink with your friends in those areas then at your seats. -
Mad Scramble to Fill a Roster
apuszczalowski replied to jumbalaya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Was it just a tweak or is it a full blown pull? (i'm sure many here can come up with some dirty comments to go with this) I think whats more concerning is that the Bills front office/coaching staff did not plan for this already, why is there no backup kicker on this roster! Seriously though, its true, signing a veteran kicker to fill in for the full time kicker who got hurt really isn't concerning, injuries happen and guys will be brought in to replace them until they are healthy. I'm just saying that an injury to the kicker, or any player, is always a concern -

Actually, it is kind of concerning that your starting kicker, whom you cut a decent kicker for earlier doesn't even make it to game 1 without hurting himself in an area where it can't be good for a kicker to be hurt (I get what your saying/mean though.....) -

Definitly cut the veteran QBs, The Bills could be the first team in history to go into a season with their entire QB position having less total games played then you can count on one hand -

I was just using Manning because he is one of the best players in the league for a while Point is, you can have all the talent in the world, but if you don't care and put in the work to get on the field, its useless. From what it all sounds like, this kid doesn't have the heart to want to be out there and figures his physical abilities should be enough to make him a star while not having to work for anything. If going through what he has over the last few years hasn't humbled him and made him work harder, its doubtful anything will
