From the rumors it seems neither, everything I read had them wanting Schwartz if/when the Lions fired him, and they had some interest in the Penn State guy. Sounds like Chud was the feel good signing last year for them when they lost out on Chip, they figured might as well sign the guy who grew up a Browns fan.

I think he meant the NFC East, The Division that was won by Orton throwing the ball directly to the Eagles Defender in the final game of the season, and included a game played in an empty stadium in the second half in New York between the Giants and Redskins. The NFC East was one of the worst divisions in Football this year As for Chip and Nick, the next 10 years are still a mystery with them. They had an up and down year and barely won a bad division to get into the playoffs. Its not like they are Brady/Belicheck or Manning/Who ever is the HC with Manning

They were just about beaten last night until Romo, Sorry, I meant Orton, gift wrapped the game for them with that throw right to the Eagles defender.The announcers talked about the Eagles being a team that you probably won't want to face in the playoffs, but I can't agree with that. They have been Jeckell and Hyde, sometimes the offence is unstoppable putting up huge points, other weeks a beaten up Cowboys team almost beats them. Its similar to the Saints, who will dominate at home, then look very beatable on the road. As for the original post, the Dolphins FANS, have nothing to be ashamed about, other then the usual, being fans of the teal and orange porpoises. The Dolphins team and organisation though should be ashamed of their play the last few weeks (among other things this season), when the pressure was on to win and be in, they folded and lost to 2 division rivals that were playing out the season. What I can't stand are the comments about how just because the Bills weren't good, their fans can't have any negative reactions over another team losing? We are just supposed to sit there with a "Whoa is us" attitude and praise those above us in the standings? The Bills beat the Dolphins twice this year, so what if they ended the season with 2 less wins then the Dolphins. Both teams aren't playing any more games this year and both are out of the playoffs. I'm not going to sit there and act like they are so much better just because they won 2 more games and almost made the playoffs.

then how do the people of Buffalo deserve the Bills? Every year when the team has blacked out games in November and December (or the threats of a blackout that lead to Ralph or others buying the remaining tickets for the "Leagues greatest fans") all we hear from teh fans is that once they start winning the stadium will be sold out, people will buy tickets then! This is all just more temper tantrums being thrown by insecure fans who want any excuse they can to continue living in their dream world that Buffalo is bigger then it is and can support an NFL franchise all on their own without help.

So a Billionaire gave a donation of one cow and a travel book as a Secret Santa Christmas gift? I would feel ripped off when i found out thats all Bill Gates gave me! It kinda reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where George gives everyone the donation to the "Human Fund" as a gift.........

Luckily I missed last weeks debacle (although i had it on a very small tv in the background while I worked on painting in the new house. Probably won't get to catch much this week because It will be spent moving furniture around. I will probably watch the last 2 games though, just because its the Bills and they are on. I'm kinda glad they aren't still in the playoff hunt cause I wouldn't be getting anything done when I have the time on Sunday

Its because both of those guys showed more on the field then Rogers did in his time here, and apparently both of them learned the playbook, something Rogers didn't.

Its crazy to expect a player to learn the playbook? How is he expected to get onto the field and play if he doesn't know the playbook? You would think that someone who went undrafted and wants to make a career in the NFL with red flags of having attitude/work ethics issues would work even harder to learn the plays and get himself out on the field then anyone else on the team

He may have the talent to play, but the issues have all apparently been attitude/work ethics issues. Who knows if he could have put it all together here, or maybe being cut loose after training camp affected him and helped? Maybe having Andrew Luck throw to him helped? Who knows The guy went undrafted, then when released was picked up by the Colts who were able to put him on their PS and could have lost him to any other team that was willing to take him off their PS and put him on their roster, but no one did. Lets stop making it out that he is Calvin Johnson and we just let the guy go for nothing, he has issues and was a complete wild card if he would ever work out and be a player

I think that Pettine has done a good enough job to keep him around, but I don't think its been good enough for him to be viewed as a potential loss to become a HC this offseasonHackett is a tough call, he hasn't been anything to be excited over, but looking at the "talent" he has to work with on the offence, its hard to say if its really just bad offensive play calling, or just doesn't have good enough players to have a good offence. They have only had Rookie QBs running the offence this season, with one established NFL WR, and 2 good RBs that appear to have taken steps back possibly because of the o-line taking a step back. I would give Hackett another chance with some better players on offence, but the rope shouldn't be too loose for next season......

The Iron Man and Avengers might be the last of the more Comicy Superhero movies. All the rest have gone the more Draker/edgier way because of the success of The Dark Knight

That game won't even be televised locally, so why would the league flex it to the late afternoon game?

its now EMO Spiderman Superhero movies can't be comicy anymore, with the success of the "Dark Knight" Batmans they all now have to be Darker and more for adult audiences instead of families

I thought it was a place where the douche hipsters hang out acting smug, calling themselves 'Audiophiles' and telling everyone else how this is the only way to listen to things because the old technology provides the best sound quality?

And the only ones to blame for that are the "NFLs Greatest Fans" in Buffalo who would rather sit at home to throw temper tantrums on internet message boards then drive the 1 hour to get to the game and make it a Home game for the Bills. As for Crowd noise and weather, when has that been a factor in favour of the bills for the last 10-15 years? I don't think any team in the league has been shaking in their cleats having to come into Buffalo to play the Bills because of the home team atmosphere, and that its anything more then what they face during any other road game they play.
