  1. Very good post but the last sentence is debatable. It might however ring true, in that McDermott would have drafted cornerbacks for Mahomes instead of receivers.
  2. He certainly deserves a VERY hefty fine to prevent this from becoming a trend. I hope that I am wrong but I have a strong hunch that this horse already left the barn with that shove.
  3. That was a vivid indication of what was to come with McDermott.
  4. I'm up on the tight wire One side's ice and one is fire It's a circus game with you and me I'm up on the tight rope One side's hate and one is hope But the top-hat on my head is all you see And the wire seems to be The only place for me A comedy of errors and I'm falling Like a rubber-neck giraffe You look into my past Well maybe you're just too blind to see
  5. I never thought I could feel this way And I've got to say that I just don't get it I don't know where we went wrong But the feeling's gone And I just can't get it back
  6. What you find, ah (I think I love you, baby) What you feel now (I feel I need you, baby) What you know-a To be real Ooh, your love's for real now You know that your love is my love My love is your love Our love is here to stay
  7. I remember them and a tie was considered a lost bet, so none of the point spreads involved half points.
  8. Q) What do you call an airplane full of bald men? A) A receding airline. Q) Why can't Michael come within 500 feet of a school? A) Because he is dead.
  9. Certainly you are happy to hear this wonderful news, no?
  10. Let's not forget: LSD (not that I ever tried it) The Grateful Dead The toured for pretty much the entire decade If you wanted to bet a football game you did so with the Mafia (or aome other gang affiliated illegal bookie. The biggest bet I ever made was as a very young teen, I bet $275 against $250 and took the Raiders over the Vikings. It was a blood bath.
  11. In the songs I've been singing quite often a phrase Comes close to the feeling of you But I never suspected that one of those days The wish of a song would come true You love for real You show the feel Of everything that touches you
  12. Without McDermott I would say probably yes.
  13. Surf's up Aboard a tidal wave Come about hard and join The young and often spring you gave I heard the word Wonderful thing A children's song
  14. Walkin' down the street, smoggy-eyed Looking at the sky, starry-eyed Searchin' for the place, weary-eyed Crying in the night, teary-eyed Don't you know that it's true That for me and for you The world is a ghetto
  15. I guess neither Levy nor McDermott was her coach.
  16. You could start by not calling names. Trust me, your posts are legendary on this board for fan hating and rather mundane rants. Still, posters are tolerant of your incessant blasting of Bills Fans and absolving McDermott from any blame for anything. Go back to your dream world. It must be fun.
  17. Did you read my post? I asked if you think McDermott is the PRIMARY reason that the Bills have made the playoffs. Josh Allen was/is the main reason why the Bills are good, not McDermott. Do I have that correct?
  18. If you think that McDermott is the primary reason that the Bills make the playoffs, please send me a PM and tell me what drugs you are taking. I too want to get that high. My guess is LSD. Am I close?
  19. On one occasion I happened to be in the stands directly behind home plate field level at Shea Stadium when Armando Benitez was pitching. Having seen this post I googled him. He is listed at 6'4"/180. When I saw him it looked like he weighed 230 or even more. Benitez was throwing the ball just so hard that I found it hard to believe that anybody even had a chance to even foul one off. The ball hitting the catchers mitt sounded like an explosion. From what I gather he was a bit of a nut. I would not be at all shocked if he was on steroids but again, he looked unhitable and that night he was backing guys off the plate and striking them out seemingly at will. His career went south and he wound up playing with the Long Island Ducks from what I read. Those guys make very little money so I suppose that he wasn't much of a saver lol.
  20. Oh, now But every girl I've ever had Breaks my heart and leave me sad What am I, what am I supposed to do? Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh Anna, just one more thing girl You give back your ring to me And I will set you free Go with him
  21. Henry has always been one of my favorite players since his college days, but remember; even as far back as his college years he gets better with a larger number of carries. The man would literally beat up defenders, and I'm not at all sure that he is capable of a large number of carries any more.
  22. We Bills Fans have become quarterback snobs, haven't we? We are slamming Tua as if he is garbage and while he is not an elite qb, he is more than twice as good as anything we had between the years of 1997 and 2017. I mean we are looking back at JP Losman, Trent Edwards, a finished Drew Bledsoe, Tyrod Taylor, Fitz, Rob Johnson, Todd Collins and Doug Flutie (who may have been the best of this sorry bunch). Looking back at that sad list, in those days we would have welcomed Tua, no?
  23. Wow. Coach Saban also showed him the door at Alabama 2 years ago, firing him as OL Coach.. Iirc he ws hired by russ Brandon, his butt buddy from Syracuse. I never thought of him as a very good coach but I suppose that in those years no coach really stood a chance.
