I don't think so. They play other lesser teams and will work their way into the playoffs. That said, it doesn't seem fair. They should just join a conference (Big Ten) and face real teams. Jmo.

The score of the Alabama game didn't reflect what happened on the field. Bama did NOT look good. I was not at all happy. The RT was stunningly bad. They were penalized constantly throughout the game (to include a targeting penalty which seemed unintentional but I guess intent doesn't matter). They let receivers get open and were lucky that the opposing QB was a lousy passer (but excellent runner). At this point, QB Milroe is vastly overrated imo. Great runner, questionable passer and decision maker. 21 of their points came late in the game. The opponent was tired and worn down. They play a real team next Saturday (Wisconsin) and will HAVE to improve to have a decent chance of winning. Again, ignore the score. Jmo.

You probably think that I'm a Notre Dame hater. I am not. The thing is, they have a huge following and the committee REALLY wants them to make the playoffs with an early seed, and be televised as much as possible. This is just my view of how the syatem works. As I said, every SEC team has a tougher schedule, except possibly Missouri, and they even have to play Auburn, South Carolina, Alabama, Texas A&M, Arkansas, and Vanderbilt (who might be decent this year). ND needs a few games against the Big 10 and/or the SEC, Jmo, peace! 👍🏈 I really hope that you are correct.

Each and every team in the SEC has a tougher schedule. MUCH tougher. I don't follow the Big 10 but I am somewhat sure that every Big 10 Team has a harder schedule as well. ND will probably go undefeated beating patsies and get a very high playoff seed, before getting trounced by the first really good team they face.

It really does suck. I can't even watch Alabama games at home until they fix this and the sports bars all use directv. I already told my daughter that if this doesn't get fixed I'm going to invade her house. The problem is, I won't be able to perform my pre-game rituals.

17 and not a big kid. He is listed at 175 lbs. but I'm not so sure. After his second TD, the big guys ran down the field and were tossing him in the air like a frisbee. The kid was laughing, and it was a funny scene to watch. I'm glad that Coach DeBoer used him sparingly. Hey, how did you like Caleb Downs? As I previously posted, that kid is GREAT. I know that Georgia is great, but they are wiping the floor with Clemson. It is painful to watch. Interesting that Florida State and Clemson are said to be fighting to get out of the ACC and they both got off to such poor starts. Are they really the top ACC teams?
