  1. Are you talking about the new site circa 2001? I bet there are many who were members of the old site, and hence can be considered "founding members".
  2. Definitely a fantastic message board and a lot of it due to enforcing of the rules and knowledgeable contributors. 27 years and counting for me. I have learned a LOT from the posts. You are one of the good additions over the years.
  3. I understand. My question was rhetorical. Its a collection of really poor decisions and a weak support system to save him from himself. Unfortunately not the first athlete to throw away that amount of wealth. And he wont be the last
  4. How does anyone spend $100 MM in 15 years?
  5. Dion Dawkins - excellent player at a tough position, nice personality.
  6. Basically, Allen and Purdy
  7. In which case, the price goes up. $500k sounds like the breakeven deal number to me. But boy it is a tough question you asked. Let's say I chose the money, and 30 years later I am on my death bed. What will I feel? My guess is that I will think at the time that I was a fan for 64 years and my team has no ring to show for it, wasted a generational QBs talents and put my emotions though the wringer year after year with no payback. At that point, before death, I will regret having chosen the $500k.
  8. Tom Brady voted for Jackson ! That two faced a$$hat!!
  9. Self awareness and acceptance is the first step towards an improvement. Kid has a good head on his shoulders. Apparently he is also putting in the offseason work. That's the best he can do till the pads come on. How can one not root for his success?
  10. Yes, that's why I like this signing. I trust the Bills docs have checked out his medicals
  11. Serious question cos I don't follow the Bengals closely - is he worth kicking the tires on? I wouldn't mind an experienced LB on our team.
  12. This made me concerned about my memory.
  13. With all the negative talk about him on this board, I had forgotten several of these plays he made. And he looks to have put in the off season work which means he is motivated. There is much to be hopeful about
  14. Yea, the gift that keeps on giving
  15. Only respect and prayers for those you laid down their lives for the country. The highest forms of heros.
  16. I bet there will be more jokes in this thread than catches he makes for us
  17. Is WGR so badly out of topics to talk about ?
  18. My point was that, imo, Shakir is more valuable than Cook. Just a hypothetical - If, prior to the draft, there was a a choice between keeping only one of the two, who would you have chosen. We clearly disagreed on our choice. My rationale is that WR will have more of an impact than a RB like Cook.
  19. Let me ask a question to answer yours. If one of them were to be deleted from the roster prior to the draft, who would it be? Imo, Cook.
  20. Congrats to you and the Mrs! A Baby Kirby! The move back to Buffalo seems to have done wonders.
  21. Please put "last season" in the title. I freaked out thinking he broke it now.
  22. We don't need him to be great. We need him to play a specific role of outside threat and deep ball catcher. If he serves that role well, this is a win. We don't have that role player at this time, cos I don't trust Samuel to be it.
  23. Last year, we were on a course which was quite hilly and navigating a few turns on the cart path was quite treachorous. This news is just a tragic reminder that even though they move slowly, golf carts can be deadly too.
  24. Thanks for throwing cold water on my dream 🙁
