  1. Bernard looked shot from a cannon
  2. I saw that. He tends to always be in the middle of the action at the goal line
  3. Individually excellent players dont by themselves make them one of the best offensive units. imo
  4. I am getting away ahead of myself but for sh***s and grins, let us say we are 15-0 entering the Eagles game and have locked up the #1 seed. Do we keep playing hard and the entire A team in a quest to go undefeated or do we rest the starters and those prone to injury? I would vote for resting the starters and not strive for an undefeated season cos only one thing ultimately matters at the end of the season.
  5. That will work for two games before the DCs catch up, flood the short area of the field and it's back to square one. I don't think even the Bengals are stupid enough to think this plan could work. Wilson's time in the NFL is coming to an end.
  6. He was doing a lot of that in Pittsburgh and Denver too .
  7. Giants should go into fire sale mode and trade us Nabers
  8. MAc Jonesy with a noodle armed INT
  9. Terrific TD throw by Herbert
  10. Stillers pounding the rock
  11. Wassup with these turnovers in the Pats-Stillers game? But Aa-Ron is throwing random passes. Can he do enough to score?
  12. Experimentation is what I am leaning towards as well. We have several new players, including rookies, on this team. Perhaps Babich and McD are trying different things especially against inferior opponents like the Jets and Dolphins. Especially knowing that errors will be covered up by our superlative O. Barring injuries, I am expecting a stifling defense in the second half of the season against tough opponents. They may still continue to protect players against inferior opponents to save them for the playoffs. I agree that we are just building for the playoffs
  13. Barely visible even in preseason. This is why McBeane can never field a winner. For what we paid him, we are getting nothing. I know the old adage - nothing ventured, nothing gained. But come on!
  14. I said this after the Ravens game and yesterday the point got reinforced - we are playing very similar to the Patriots in their Superbowl era. Keep playing sound football, stay calm under pressure, make no mistakes and let the other poor saps make errors at critical times. The Henry forced fumble, the roughing the kicker penalty, the Walker pressure - Bernard INT.... Steady coaching, a controlled QB performance, no turnovers will result in many Ws.
  15. That's what Dawkins said before and then after the game
  16. And the D is still finding it's sea legs. And I am quite sure Ed O could have played but McD felt it's not necessary. This is a team rich with talent. Do I worry ? Of course. But that comes from being a Bills fan. We are conditioned to worry and fret. Imo, it was too close and unlikely to be over turned so he didn't want to risk a lost TO so early in the game
  17. Well Tua does something that Allen doesn't - throw INTs
