  1. Had a Burmese interpreter the other day, Burmese appearing, except his blue eyes (also the reason he was persecuted in Burma). Apparently he's 1/4 Scot via a seafaring grandfather, back in the day. Now with Viking conquests into Scotland through the ages & Sven hooking up with a bonnie lass, who knows, he may be a Viking too...
  2. I'm in Melbourne, haven't seen it yet...
  3. Am late to the thread, just sold the house & got the little one back home from hospital, again. As a kid growing up I can remember Poppy Day, ANZAC day, MS Read-a-thon & Jump Rope for Heart days. There now seems a "day" for every organisation, charity or fund raiser. Whilst great in their own way, all pale to the simplicity & inverse magnitude of buying a poppy & stopping for a minute silence on the 11th min, 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month & hearing the last post to end that minute, inspiring. Thankyou.
  4. Dline seemed to play Branch, Williams, Dareus rotating through End & Dt with Hughes as the rush end, Kiko in the Middle, Mario & Manny in 2point. Mario looked outta sorts as a LBer. Oh & special teams haven't been special, unless you can count on them giving up containment when it matters.
  5. Pretty much every play bar 1, I think was bounced to the left!
  6. We used to tape "Rage" a music video show shown on 1 of the 2 channels we had as kids growing up in the country. My oldest sister wax a Duran Duran fan. I caught "Girls on Film" video one night & ...
  7. That's the Paup 17.5 & Hansen 10 season with Mt. Washington. From memory his tackle count was also high that year, Hansen's particularly? I still have the Browns game in tape, wet night, skinny Justin Armour looked good, Paup, Smith & Hansen all got sacks that night on Vinny. 1st time recalling Belicheck's name. Darick H had a bad chop block. Rishon was outclassed by Reed, Kurt Schulz & Jim Leonard remind me of each other. I digress! Mario's 1st quarter, from the start was worth watching. The hustle on the last play was great to see.
  8. Surely it's just downloaded some spyware program from the Chinese government!
  9. She's not smokin, she's cute ok. (The other guys!)
  10. And they say romance is dead.
  11. And Ziggy Ansah is on pace to at least compete with Kearse' rookie record too.
  12. Sorry, had my glasses off but was left wondering why the hell anyone would call themselves Donte HITLER?
  13. I don't believe it until I see it done on mythbusters!
  14. US immigration is big, but you need to be skilled. Sharks aren't a big deal, we had JP down here for a surf @ Bells in like 2006. We do say G'day and we do watch the Superbowl on a Monday!
  15. 30 people die/ day in the US from DUI. He's lucky he's not in that stat.
  16. Awesome boxer & great man. What an era for boxing too. Life's battles dont always go to the stronger or faster man, but sooner or later the man who wins is the man who thinks he can! One of my favourite quotes.
  17. Couldve easily been a couple more in the 4th too. I liked the missed sack reaction in the 4th when he rips off his lid. There's that story from DT in THAT game against Seattle when Krieg (?) throws a pass to win after missing a DT rush & the thing that concerned him was not the 7 sack game, but that 1 missed sack! I hope his fire burns well for he rest of the season.
  18. Would you be upset...
  19. You just wanted to use the word betwixt in a sentence
  20. Props to Mario. Technique wise he did a lot more than I've ever seen from him, I hope he continues expanding his repertoire.
  21. Sorry, I've missed something- Mario did well & I've got a lengthier post laying it on him for the loss? I guess I'm expecting a lot more from a guy who commands a large salary than what was on show than you.
  22. Awful. Mario's efforts at times were just lame. Sadly a bidding war we won and has not erased the other recent #94 from memory.
