Was talking with a Raiders fan the other day and he raised an interesting idea regards the draft. Why not introduce a reward to the team the drafts well, say either a pick or some coin or other dispensation- maybe a Veteran salary reduction. Something. So you drafted a 1st rd that was an All-pro still with your team, maybe you could get a reduction on his salary against the cap as a veteran so he could remain at the club at his career end. Or you drafted a 7th rd who came to be a Probowler you'd get an extra pick, not sure what value in the draft. Reward a good draft rather than rewarding mediocrity giving them the earliest draft pick. And remember, this is from a Raiders fan!

Have you wondered about Australian English then? I mean, there's "a" which can be heard as "Or" as in Or- stralia. Can be heard as "ay" as in Or-str-aylia. And finally be heard as "uh" as in Or-str-ay-li-uh. I'm suspecting Welsh origins?

Man, I was totally the kid that was in the right place and time for the Big 4 in High School. Every time they've toured in Oz & they toured often, I've seen them. He reminded me of Jerry Ball, a big guy that was explosive Ball played well for like a decade too. It seemed he had the leverage, bulk & size to protect his nees compared to say a Stubblefied who got more upright in the middle & injuries ate at his production more quickly.

My dad's uncle was a Lancaster navigator. Killed over Germany. Just 21. 2nd mission. 1st as a crew, other flight was a "live" training. Thomas Thurman was his name. Always liked that photo of him @ Nana's in aircrew uniform leathers etc. became a Bills fan. Bingo.

I got Thomas Thurman past her 17months ago & am in need of a name- most likely a boy... (well, the radiologist is 99% sure). Cheers.
