  1. Too many screens. Back to back in fact. Mario plays WAY better from a 5 technique than a 4- id ban him from a 4. they twist him a lot with the tackle too, they just dont seem to work, stick him in a 5 or more & let him go. Whilst we're at it, stick him in a 7! How good are the backs? I like the athleticism of LeVitre- hustles on blocks, good combo with Wood & LeVitre. The Oline- often has its share of penalties, didnt. McKelvin's found his spot- nice Tasker moment!!!! Still NO big hits (except Mario on the pick) but Brabham energetic bounce may come to fruition. We have 4 QB & 3 kickers. How big is Hairston? Was it Carrington who squashed Kolb? Could the refs have used the chains to measure?
  2. Which side do they drive in America Samoa out of curiosity? I gather by his surname he's AS?
  3. Can he stop pulling his shirt down after every play, likes he's hiding his conditioning. Literally, every play.
  4. Search was soft- he tackled like 2 hand touch. My 1 year old tackles harder.
  5. We flat out don't have anyone that's intimidating. Period.
  6. Search looked soft & weak against SF.
  7. Watching the game, our the D playing flag? QB's are lining up to run, untouched. WR & backs arent being "hit" looking to pick up those extra yards. Do we have a "nasty" on the team? A froth & bubbles guy?
  8. The times they had the blitz- 5 times, the rush seemed to work better... ... I saw 1 spin move, I think from Anderson playing at RDE! Mario had 1 solid rush & hit on Smith in the 4th!
  9. Run left, the line down blocks- leaves the edge backer unblocked- epic fail with the backer walking in for the tackle. Why run this play twice. The d-line- pretty much in a base all day, Mario in a 5, Anderson a 7 & KW & Dareus in varying tackle spots. 1 play in the 3rd made me go huh. KW from a 3 technique stunts with Anderson in a 7. It's just soooo far & takes so much time that both KW & Anderson couldn't get out if each others way.
  10. Have noted that week in, week out. Mario has maybe 3 moves- a strong push to the outside (he's not dynamic off the snap but can skinny that corner a little), a strong bull rush through the tackle and a fighting hand technique to go inside after squaring up on the tackle. $100m certainly didn't invite any variety. The response is either he's double or triple or chipped blocked- even when he's 1 on 1, isolated with just the tackle! And then the lamer, "he's making it easier for everyone else, if you don't now that you don't understand football" response... Query injury maybe? I just don't see that explosion off the 1st step that offsets the tackles balance. Oh and is there any variety in his split, what, he plays AT most a 7inside technique. Nothing else. Nothing. Hire some Bills DVD's and learn some moves/techniques- hire Bruce for a one on one coach.... Do something than put your hand down and check your bank balance.
  11. The end that can ride into that outside edge-corner & then come back inside off of a spin or a swim may do well as Glenn learns his balance. That said he's been recovering well to ride the rush back inside at this point with those long arms & bulk.
  12. Oval is about 200m in length, vary in size though, clock stops for out of play including scores. There's no fair catch for a mark. 6 points for a goal & a consolation for a miss is a point. I think the uniqueness is that it's a 360deg game for tackling, both leagues & gridiron have a separation of teams. Ball is moved by foot and by fist, no throwing. Tackle from waiste to below shoulder. That's about it for rules... Was curious as the AFL- the NFL equivalent always angs on about the international audience but my bro who lives in Georgia can't find a channel it's on.
  13. Curiosity- anyone watch this stateside?
  14. Do the Bills have a pass rush coach? Mario seems to have a bull rush & a rip around the outside, pretty much it. Maybe it's me, but yet to see much else. What's in the bag that's not coming across.
  15. Oh that touching, not THAT touching...
  16. Hook up Aaron Gibson for dietary advice.
  17. I'm looking for the Bills shirt with cummerbund (wow, that's probably the 1st time ever that I've written that word) for a wedding in 2 weeks that says "formal atire".
  18. Some of the routes ran last week were just awful. Guys in just truly horrible body/ ball positions, falling over each other. Is that coaching- the head, the receivers coach or early season rust. But some routes looked like high school,
  19. If his weight can balloon 20lbs, wonder how quick he can add 80lbs?
  20. Sorry it took me awhile, just realized that if the Bills had called R. Wilson it may have been embarrassing having a 93 come to the podium...
  21. No, but, if Russel Wilson graded out so highly (by most all accounts people had him as excellent, with only the height as a concern), and you are a team that not only doesn't have a backup, but has a starter who at times looked worse than half the league's backups - then, yes, it is time to start being aggressive in landing THE ANSWER at QB - even if that means reaching by a round to ensure you get him; because, otherwise, as we've seen the last two years, the Bills end up missing on a guy they liked by half a round or a round. If you are in real need, overpaying by a round is better than having to shell out millions and risk an entire season on a carousel of mediocre QB's. Just go and get a good one, for a change! That's exactly, to the letter of how the Vikes drafted Jackson, to the letter.
  22. Is it me or was there not a cryptic reference to the Electric Company there & that maybe the article is about LeVitre's wanting of this unit to step it up, to flick that switch... Joe D, McKenzie, Foley, Montler & Green- Seymour... Probowl nods abound. Urbik, LeVitre, Glenn, Wood & Hairston/ Pears- Chandler.... & mayb the flick the switch, the electric company reference makes sense- none are pro bowlers @ present... ...
  23. Does Ray Bentley's count, that was a bad handlebar.
  24. Just like the Hurt Locker, there were times i thought it was good and times m'eh.
