  1. Will Shields- Utterly dominate, never "off", what a 3rd rd pick too! Willie Roaf- "in my time" the 1st prototype "Giant" LT with feet, I also remember a game with the Saints that he started 6 days after having arthroscope surgery- don't think he missed a game! All decade team twice. I felt the same re- Dawson- highlighted that Centre position... some love for the O-line maybe. Tez for me was a bit like Roaf, the coming of the Athletic REAL BIG man at DT- the harbinger of Sapp, Young, Stubblefield... to the KW's , as big as a house. Aenas was stellar for all those years on an invisible-to the-media team, some amazing numbers. And Andre... he's a Buffalo Will- go- over the middle.. and something about a special sauce... Not sure why he's overlooked as much as he is, it's like he's pee'd someone off.
  2. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/132611-does-re-signing-your-draft-picks-mean-anything/page__p__2205992__hl__shamrock__fromsearch__1#entry2205992 I wondered this awhile back, Does re-signing your draft picks mean anything anymore?
  3. As a history buff, the naval yards impressive. Went to Fort Niagara and the one on the other side. Took a drive around Rochester, followed the canals a bit- a motorcycle cop gave me some good drives. DIdn't get lost once. Plenty to do.
  4. Great lot, great bloke and Buddy the Wonder dog is very friendly.
  5. Was wondering the point of the draft and the value of re-signing your players. If you draft a guy and someone, including your own team, re-signs them, is that a good sign of draft evaluation? Or another way, is a drafted playing career lasting longer than the average another positive of a good draft? Hang with me... So in 2001- Clements (still playing), Schobel and Henry class- they played a combined 26 seasons. 2002 Williams, Reed and Denney combined for 22 seasons- none still playing. So is 2001 a better statistical assessment of the drafters success than 2002, noting i could only be bothered worrying about the top 3 picks? Or does it go on purely on things like statistics and probowls? Say, 2002 again, there's no probowls and 2001 something like 4. Then if we compare 2001 to 2000, adding Corey Moore (!) that's a measley 14 years and no probowls, let alone stats from your 1st 3 draftees. 1999 to 2001, Winfield, Price and add in Bryson that's 28 seasons (and counting) and 3 Probowls. 2003 (If you look longer along comes a McGee suprise! Heck- Hagan and Aiken (probably just) are still playing!!) but the top 3 are Mcgahee (just cut), Kelsay (playing)and Crowell comnine for 20 seasons, 1 Probowl. Get my drift and query and wonder how this stacks up across the league? Cheers.
  6. Sounds AWESOME.
  7. Hoping that a couple of techniques can be learnt, Giff Smith still the Dline coach. That frame squared up and fatigued is the Siegfried line without some movement.
  8. Would love to, but have another Bills fan to be born in October... I didn't want to add the Sydney bit... but laughed when you did!!!! We're hoping in the NOT TOO distant future.

  10. That 9-7 season looked great from here!
  11. You'd literally vomit then if you ever understood the Union of Socialist States of Australia or the good ol' USSofA!
  12. Aren't they looking for a D in total?
  13. They too our jobs (in the style of South Park)
  14. Apalachian State comes to mind?
  15. Here's my question. Would you drop someone on the roster, on the radar to give someone you've got a good grasp on that isn't in the NFL to come back and ride the pines as a playing coach? Remember, your job is to put the best team out there and you'll swing with the loss and rise with the wins and make enough losses and you're forever "unemployed". Your job is to sign, not speculate? Does that change how you see Losman?
  16. If you can recall the sack Jeff Wright made on Brett Favre in 1991 and are not related to Jeff Wright, then you're a Bills fan.
  17. Like having a tonne of skiing potential but living in Libya...
  18. For some reason, Quinn Early's name came to mind re longest TD, possibly previously?
  19. You look at a flight from Melbourne as just one of those things you have to do to visit Orchard Park...
  20. So Weis explains the insance yards as due to Bills stupidity- not adjusting, but were there any comments on Kyle Williams: nine tackles, two sacks, and three tackles for loss for example weren't forthcoming? How did Weis adjust for a great D effort, albeit solo by running the same play 95% of the tine. Or do we take this as more winners are grinners, winners get to write history and we take all that they say then as truth.
  21. 2. Blaine Gabbert, Good Athlete can make plays on the run reminds me of Roethlisberger but better runner and not as big. Hmmm. Maybe a roughie, how about Christian Ponder, QB, Florida State. Remonds me of Michael Vick, except White, or Steve Young, except Right handed or John Elway, except not as durable, or Jim Kelly, but not as tall... sorry, but, you were open...
  22. Keith Traylor and Ted Washington for the Bears in 2000 is what you're after, i think.
