I couldn't care less who has the boot. I went there in the early 90's and moved away from Fort Collins in 2000. My point is that this board is to talk about the Buffalo Bills. Just because our QB went there, doesnt mean we should be fans of the Cowpokes. As most people here, I've always been a huge Jim Kelly fan, but cannot recall Bills fans jumping on the U of Miami bandwagon. By the way, my condolences if you live in Laramie. (Or I hope it's changed since I last visited.) Lets go Buffalo!

I just heard the sad news, and I'm crushed. I've been a huge Parrothead since the 80's and know that no other artist has had a greater influence on my life than him. His music and books were the biggest source of escapism on me, and I know damn well that I wouldn't now be living in the South Pacific if it weren't for his influence. That said, my wife and I are currently holidaying on the island of Aitutaki, which I'm sure Jimmy B would have loved. Turquoise water, coral sands, Bonefish and a history of seaplanes. We'll be heading out to the Boat Shed Bar in a few minutes to proudly raise our glasses high in his honour. I'll happily buy the next round if any of you care to join us. Thank you Jimmy for bringing so much joy and magic to my life. I will always be indebted to you. God bless. Thanks for writing this OldManFan. I've been thinking about writing a similar post myself for a while now. I've been a member of this board since day one, and cannot recall ever seeing this amount of negativity before, even through all of the drought years. I've lived overseas now for over 18 years, so don't know if this negative attitude is prevalent throughout the entire country or if it's just a local thing, but it's very sad. Looking back at my life, I can honestly say that the number one thing I've learned is the importance of having a positive attitude, coupled with gratitude. Without it, what's the point of living? You need to look forward to things, and then give thanks for those things once they've manifested into reality. The same holds true for being a Bills fan. Why spend your life being miserable? There'sa difference betweenbeing critical and being negative. (I'd be interested to know how many of these "negative Nancy's" never stuck their necks out to achieve their dreams, instead choosing to continue to live the same daily drudgery of life, over and over again.) Wake up, smell the roses and enjoy life, including this young exciting team that we call our own. I'm sure many of you will roll your eyes at this post, and even write a snarky reply, but I couldn't care less. I may not be a rich man, but I've lived a far better life than I ever dreamed of, mostly because of positivity and gratitude. I have high hopes for this season. However, if they crash and burn, I'll put it aside and then look forward to next year. Anyway... I wish you all nothing but the very best. Let's go Buffalo!

Somebody help me out. My wife and I are currently away on holiday, and I thought that I'd check in this morning to see if there was any Bills news. I log in, and I immediately feel like I've entered some bizzaro world, where people on this board are actually writing positive things about the team, instead of the incessant whining that's been predominant for the last few years. Don't get me wrong... I'm a very positive person, and love seeing positive things written... I just can't get my head around it. Why all of a sudden are fans so much more positive? Did they put something in the water? Are they dousing the air like Chemtrails with "happy drugs"? Or are the more positive fans (like me) finally speaking their minds over the negative Nancy's? Whatever the reason, I love it! Keep it up and ENJOY the ride! Let's go Buffalo!!!
