Bad Things

So, I've been living in New Zealand for the last 20 years now. While I don't always wear Bills gear, I do wear a Bills hat from time to time. In these 20 years, no one has ever made a comment to me until yesterday. I was walking through town and some guy that I was walking past, looked up and shouted, "Go Bills!" I immediately spun around, extended my hand and asked if he was a Bills fan. He said, "Nah, I just hope you kick the crap our of KC! I can't stand 'em!" That's close enough to being a "sign" to me! Let's go Buffalo!

A couple years ago, my wife were holidaying on the island of Rarotonga, in the Cook Islands, where we rent a little beach house each winter. Well, this one year, there were a couple workers doing some maintenance on the house next door, while I was drinking rum in the shade of the coconut trees. They were playing music, but kept it quiet and to themselves, until the end of the day, when everyone but one of them went home. This one guy stayed behind to clean up. Well, since he was alone, he took control of the boombox and played the following song on repeat for at least a dozen times in a row. The song is so bloomin' bad, my wife and I were laughing our butts off each time it came on again. Every now and then, I'll load it up on the stereo just to play the intro and annoy the Mrs. (It's so bad!)

I heard Simms say the other day that he "knew" Lamar was going to win the MVP when the NFL announced he was the All-Pro first-team QB. He made it sound like the same voters that vote for the All-Pro team, vote for the MVP, so it makes sense. More importantly, he went on to say that if it were up to him, Josh Allen would win MVP.

It also goes to show that we're all usually surrounded by idiots, that think they know far more than they actually do

The one that sticks out to me was this jerk Thermodynamics instructor that I had, who acted like the students should have already known everything he was supposed to be teaching us that term, including the lab equipment. The fat bastard made us all suffer that term. I also had a Physics prof from Japan who's accent was so strong, you couldn't understand anything he was saying. (At least he tried though.)
